Relocated miller’s cottage with one bedroom, lounge and fully stocked kitchen. Only minutes to the beach, lagoon and walking tracks.

Big doors go into deck and there is a firepit and outdoor bath for relaxing under the stars.

The couch pulls out to a bed which would be suitable for kids if you desired.

Okarito stay

Our stay at Okarito was amazing. Wonderful property close to some amazing walks. It had everything you needed for a relaxing break. We loved our time there.

Communication needs to improve markedly we had to approach the neighbours to get information about the code for the key no phone number to ring or email or text hopelessly inadequate

A hidden gem!

Modern Comfortable and Clean

The bach is nicely decorated very clean and comfortable for two.The good sized fridge, cooker and coffee maker all much appreciated.Okarito is a gem of a place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back some time.

Quiet location with excellent facilities and walks

Hidden away from the quiet road, this was a delightful place to stay. Easy walking around Okarito with a great walk a minute’s stroll from the property. Everything you needed to make meals at home. Not far from Franz Josef if you have activities planned here. There are also places in the village to book tours. Only a 5 minute walk to an amazing beach too. Would recommend it!

Cosy cabin

Very comfortable stay at this cosy cabin in a fantastic location next door to the local walks, with abundant wildlife around the property and neighbourhood. Would definitely stay again if visiting the coast!

Millers Cottage is a great place to stay.Modern,clean well equipped.Great shower,aircon,TV,comfortable bed.Short walking distance to sea.Private location.Highly recommended.

Millers Bach Okarito

Lovely property - fantastic peaceful location and the weather played ball!! The pest control work in the area has really paid off and the birdlife was amazing. Highly recommended - couldn't ask for more.

Quiet Cottage near the beach

Okarito is very much out of the way, and this cottage is a great place to get away from it all! We used this as a base for the Franz Josef area, but also enjoyed the sights around Okarito, especially the beach. Beautiful sunsets, too! The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped. Great place to stay!

Okarito House

The bach was very comfortable and warm. Close to walking tracks and the lagoon.. The high tech oven took a bit of working out. Great shower and comfortable bed. Saw a white heron near the Okarito village and enjoyed kayaking on the lagoon and walking in the beautiful forest. A beautiful area. Helen

Excellent place for a getaway. The little house was warm and comfortable.

Perfect house for the 5 day getaway I enjoyed. I would not hesitate to recommend it and would certainly book it again when I am back down that way.
