Great stay

Highly recommend staying here. This cottage is in a great location, within minutes of lakes. It is clean, quiet, and has all the amenities. This was the ideal location for a long weekend away from home.

Cute and Cozy Home

Very clean home on a beautiful property. Lots of space to walk with our dog on the property with a woodsy back drop. Short drive to wineries, orchards, and downtown Bellaire. Great spot for a peaceful getaway with our family.

Could not have asked for a better home away from home. You can tell owner takes pride in making this place perfect for guests. House was clean, organized, and had everything you could need an more. If you’re looking for a peaceful get away close to plenty of things to do, then this is your place!

Wonderful home and the owners thought of everything. Property is amazing and pictures do not due it justice. Close to many attractions and necessities but private with beautiful views. The owners were very responsive and respected our privacy. This is one of our favorite properties!

A Northern Michigan Gem

This was a beautiful place that was perfect for our family of four. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was exactly as described in the pictures and in the post. The location is excellent. It sits next to a wide open field where we watched the animals all week. We spent every night of our trip cooking outside and sitting by the fire. The hosts were excellent and very responsive. It was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Great house!

The property is very nice! The place is peaceful and quiet. The house is very clean and welcoming. Even though we didn't meet the hosts in person (because they didn't want to disturb us in any way), we are convinced they are wonderful people, keeping in mind how clean and nicely decorated the house is! They left us a lot of treats and coffee. We cannot wait to come again!

Clean, Chic, Country Cottage!!

We absolutely loved staying here. We were the first guests and the home was literally immaculate! Kay, our host, was so kind and inviting. She set out snacks, water bottles, fresh locally picked cherries, and face masks for any places still with Covid restrictions. They even had a basket full of brochures with things to do in the area! We all loved the decor, the new appliances, and the fact it was in the vicinity of all the fun things we had in store for us. The backyard with the fire pit was a beautiful place to watch the sun setting in the horizon. I could not say enough about how wonderful this property and host were, you guys will definitely have to see it for yourselves! We can’t wait to be back, thank you so much for having us Kay! :)

Perfectly Serene

Quaint two bedroom, only needed one. Older cottage recently updated but maintaining country charm. Out in the country but close enough to visit destinations from Fishtown to Petoskey and still enjoy relaxing in the evening. The trail behind the cottage was welcome excursion for my dog as well.

Beyond Expectations

I can't say enough good things about this house! It is located on a large privately owned property, walking trails were mapped out and our dogs loved the walks. The house was extremely clean and they left little care packages for us. One of our favorite parts of the house was the fuzzy throw blankets we snuggled under while watching movies! 10/10 would recommend this house to anyone.

This property was wonderful! What a beautiful property!

We had such a wonderful stay. The property is terrific and very clean. I typically don't sleep well away from home but the beds were very comfortable and the hosts were so very kind. We went to the local orchard and met the family who own's it and they gave us beautiful places to visit. We will for sure be back!

Great choice!

This is a peaceful property that is within reasonable driving distance to many lakes and activities. The cleanliness was superb; and the little extras were a perfect touch, like the kit for starting a fire, s'more ingredients, food seasoning necessities, and a large snack pack.

So cute!

My husband and I went up for a last minute trip to look at properties in the area and this place was so cute. Our puppy loved the property and loved running around the trail. It was in a nice remote location which was awesome to get away but not too far from things to do. The little touches like leaving a bag of chili was much appreciated since we got in so late and nothing was open. We were excited to have some food! I had never been to Cellar 1914 and it was great to get a flight of wine and discover a new favorite place. We would definitely stay again!
