Beautiful Country Home

This home is truly magnificent. It was serene, yet modern with exceptional attention to detail. It does not have central air, which was warm during the afternoon hours; however, if you opened all the doors, a beautiful breeze blew through the open kitchen/living area. Lisa lives on property and was incredibly friendly and quick to respond to any questions I had. I would highly recommend this home to baseball families staying in Cooperstown!

Beautiful Location

Recently stayed here while my grandson attended Cooperstown Dream Park. The house was clean and airy and we were very comfortable. The location was very pretty. House could have used an upgrade on some of the kitchen utensils as we could only find one knife and no spatula. The owner also lives on the property which probably should be disclosed in the listing although they were pleasant and friendly and we did not feel interference with our stay.

Wonderful stay

Our family of 5 stayed here during our son’s baseball tournament at the All-Star Village (ASV) in Oneonta. The drive to ASV is about 25 minutes on peaceful scenic roads - super easy to go back and forth for some rest in between games. The drive to Cooperstown itself is around 10 minutes. This house is beautiful and well-stocked with comfortable beds and plenty of room to hangout in the kitchen/main room area. We also enjoyed the family room downstairs that we used as an office to get work done here & there. Highly recommend this place - it doesn’t get any better, absolutely perfect!

Great option near Dreams Park!

Our son was playing at Dreams Park and this was a great option located about 13 minutes away. We were able to drive back and forth between games when we wanted. The house matched the photos and was clean and functional. I appreciated that it was more updated than a lot of the other listings I found - more of a contemporary/clean style. Lisa (host) was easily available by text when we needed her. If we return next year I would stay here again!

Modern and relaxing stay

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay at the Nordic Farmhouse. The house was stocked all the essentials (especially the baths and kitchen) that made it easy to relax and enjoy. Upstate NY was even more beautiful in this summer setting.

Fantastic Week in Cooperstown!

We were in Cooperstown for a week while our son’s team competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park. The property was beautiful and so peaceful. It looked just like the pictures! It was very well stocked with anything you may think you will need. Check-in was simple. Lisa was very communicative and helpful if we needed anything. It was the perfect place to wind down after a long day of baseball, and it is close enough to comfortably stop in during a game break as well. It only took bout 10 minutes to get to the park. It is also only about 8 minutes to Main Street and close to other great places and restaurants around town. If we ever have a reason to return, we would stay here again for sure.

Cooperstown Visit

We had a great stay, well laid out house, with plenty of room and great outdoor spaces. Very quiet and peaceful and very close to town and Dreams Park. Owner was incredibly attentive and available if needed. Full recommend on the house, really enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful Property for our Family

Our son played at Cooperstown Dreams Park and our family stayed at this property for a week. Perfect location; 5-10 min. away from everything. We hit the jackpot when we found this place. Had everything we needed; updated, bright, cheery, clean, lovely area and close enough to DreamsPark. Hostess is a gem. I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area.

Great Time/Great Hosts

We had an amazing stay at Lisa's property. There is so much to do in the area (Hall of Fame, Breweries, Boating, Hiking, etc) and the house itself was very nice, well stocked and modern. I would highly recommend the area, hosts and property to anyone.

Gorgeous house and surrounding area

This was the nicest and most functional house my family has rented, and the pictures don't do it justice! The house is very well-appointed, with lovely bathrooms and comfortable beds. We spent a month this summer at Lisa's house, worked remotely, and we never grew tired of the house or the surrounding area. Nearby Otsego lake is gorgeous, there are many quality restaurants/eateries and other activities and opportunities to immerse yourself in nature and farmland. Lisa provides everything you need and is a warm and gracious host. We didn't want to leave and hope to return soon! Thank you!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our 3 nights. We came out to see the baseball hall of fame and check out other sights and breweries in Cooperstown. The house was very clean (and nice cotton sheets on the beds) and Lisa was super responsive and easy to deal with. Also it’s a quick pop into town (7 min). We had brunch at Blue Mingo grill and a great dinner near by at Bocca Osteria. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely house

We loved this house. It was clean and well appointed. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and really cute property. The only thing I would change is that our navigation said 6 miles from Dreams Park. Not a big deal as it was always a quick drive.

Fly creek property

Beautiful, modern home with a country feel. The location was perfect for the Cooperstown baseball tournament. Short easy drive with no traffic. Great walk from the house to fly creek town, which was quaint and adorable.

Overall a good experience, but a few things I wish we would have known.

We stayed here during our son’s tournament at Dreams Park. We stayed with two other couples and overall our stay was good, but there were a few things I wish I would have known ahead of time. 1. The A/C was only one unit in the living area and kitchen and did not cool the bedrooms or other areas of the house. We were there the first week of July and temperatures were pretty warm so sleeping was especially uncomfortable. Lisa (the owner) did try to purchase some additional small air conditioners, but was unable to find them. 2. Seating in the house was limited. It was beautifully decorated, but there were no couches anywhere, only sitting areas with a few chairs. This especially posed a problem on the last night for us because we checked our boys out to stay with us to leave early the next morning. Since there were no couches, they had to sleep on the floor. There are 3 queen size beds, but we shared the house with two other couples. If you were the only family in the house, this obviously wouldn’t be a problem. 3. The owner lives in a camper very near the house. She was very nice and helpful with suggesting restaurants etc. This was convenient if you had questions or needed anything, but it didn’t feel real private. You can see the camper right outside the kitchen window. 4. The bathroom and bedroom doors have no locks and several windows in the bedrooms have no shades. This made the heat worse and also made sleeping past daylight very difficult. I think this house is best suited for a single family and not multiple families. It was very close to Dreams Park and downtown Cooperstown which was very convenient. The house was clean and the finishes were nice, but ultimately the A/C situation made us pretty uncomfortable. If the weather wasn’t hot, the experience would have been much better!

Charming House, Great location!

Lisa's house was perfect for our family (4) during a week watching our oldest play baseball at Dream's Park. House was clean and updated, and had absolutely everything ... along with the nice touch of fresh flower's from the garden! Lisa was welcoming and super responsive - wonderful to work with for our first time using VRBO. Highly recommend this property (and owner). We will be contacting her in a few years when we are back again!
