KORT BESKRIVNING: Detta underbara hem har ett utmärkt läge uppe på kullen med utsikt över Yellowstone River. En ganska brant sluttning tar dig ner till flodens bakgård där det finns plats för barn att leka eller att ta en picknick vid floden. En badtunna på baksidan uteplatsen fullbordar bilden!

Sovrum och badrum: Det stora sovrummet är på huvudnivån, med en king size-säng, TV och ett privat angränsande bad med dusch. Denna huvudnivå badrum kan nås från vardagsrummet och innehåller tvättmaskin och torktumlare för hemmet. På övervåningen finns ett andra sovrum med en queen size-säng, en TV och ett angränsande badrum med badkar och dusch. Tillsammans med sovrummet på övervåningen finns ett litet loft med två enkelsängar, en TV och en DVD-spelare. Hemmet kan rymma upp till sex gäster.

TV-rum: Det finns också en inbyggd källare som har en TV och en bäddsoffa som är tillgänglig från utsidan av hemmet.

Kök och matplats: Det kompletta köket, med diskmaskin, intervall, mikrovågsugn och all köksredskap, kommer att ha allt du behöver. Matbordet sitter sex eller leder ut till däck och njuter av din måltid medan du njuter av floden. Det finns en gasgrill på däck för utegrill.

Vardagsrum En vacker stenhäll är centrum för vardagsrummet, med mysigt men stilfullt möbelarrangemang för avkoppling och en platt-TV ovanför eldstaden. De levande och matsaliga områdena har stora fönster för att dra nytta av floden. Hemmet har en omslag runt däck som utökar vardagsrummet utomhus och har ett picknickbord.

SETTING, ACREAGE, VIEWS: Chicory på Yellowstone ligger på cirka två hektar. Detta hem ligger i ett litet grannskap. Yellowstone River strömmar strax under hemmet.

Avstånd till flygplatsen: Bozeman flygplatsen ligger ungefär en timmes bilresa från hemmet.

AKTIVITETER NÄRHET: Fiske på Yellowstone River är bokstavligen ut bakdörren. Hyr en båt, kanot eller flotte och planera dina egna äventyr på Yellowstone. Andra närliggande aktiviteter inkluderar vandring, cykling, ridning, och Yellowstone Park ligger bara 45 minuter bort. Chico Hot Springs har mat i världsklass och bra blötläggning bara några minuter på vägen. Staden Livingston ligger 20 minuter bort med ett stort utbud av restauranger, gallerier och shopping och Bozeman ligger strax över kullen. Vinter besökare kan njuta av längdskidåkning i den vackra Absaroka bergen och Yellowstone Park. Det finns så mycket att göra!

Peaceful and beautiful views

We were looking for something that felt remote yet updated and not too rustic. This cabin was lovely and had plenty of room for 4 adults to have our space. We had a few issues with the hot tub and some spiders, but the owners were responsive and tried to make it right. Beautiful area of Montana and great memories were made!

Nice stay

The stay was excellent very comfy and relaxing. We did have a light sewage smell coming from the basement that wasn’t concerning since we weren’t using that lower level. Noticed a live mouse in that area we first got there two days later the mouse was dead. Should be an easy fix otherwise awesome

Cozy house on the river

We loved this house on the river and will be back! It was very clean, with a well stocked kitchen and lovely hot tub. The fireplace was dreamy, and the holiday decorations a plus. Though there are houses close by, the setting still felt private. We were very happy to spend Thanksgiving at this sweet house!

Impeccable Views

We recently stayed at this stunning mountain retreat, and it was everything we hoped for and more! The location is unbeatable – perched right on the Yellowstone River with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Watching the deer roam the property was such a magical touch and made us feel truly connected to nature.The home itself was perfect for our group of two couples. We loved relaxing in the hot tub under the stars after a day of sledding, and the wood-burning stove added the perfect cozy ambiance to our evenings. The house was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, and everything was so thoughtfully communicated to ensure we had an easy and seamless stay.Whether we were enjoying the peaceful river views or exploring the snowy outdoors, this home was a fantastic base for our getaway. We can't recommend it enough and would definitely love to return!

Great Location on the Yellowstone River

The house was clean and met all of our needs. The property was well maintained, and we were able to see deer, bald eagles, a rabbit and various other wildlife. The view from the deck and hot tub were amazing along with the riverside view. Enjoyed many hours in the hot tub, which was very comfortable for all four members of our party. It's an easy and beautiful drive from the Yellowstone north entrance and just down the road from Livingston.

Family Celebration

We got this property for the specific reason of it being on the Yellowstone River so we could fly fish all we wanted! Not only could we walk out to it from the back yard there was also a public access just a block from the house which was super convenient. The house had everything we needed and expected, it was extremely well taken care of as well as having extras for all the bedrooms and kitchen necessities. Beautiful property and the view was breathtaking!

Wonderful Property!!!

This was a wonderful property!!! Beautifully decorated, clean and the host was amazing. It was perfectly situated between Livingston and Yellowstone National Park. It was also much more spacious than we had anticipated. We were pleasantly surprised. We definitely recommend choosing this property.

Beautiful house & scenery

We loved it! The location was great…beautiful views of the Yellowstone River & surrounding mountains! The house was stocked with plenty of items needed for cooking. The twin beds in the loft area were great for our two littles. We weren’t used to dealing with baseboard heaters, so it took us a couple of days to get our temp figured out. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely Getaway

Nicely nestled along the Yellowstone River this space was bright and spacious. From the property we saw eagles and owls nesting. The kitchen was well supplied and appliances and tech. easy to use. The hot tub is accessible via outdoor steps. Easy access to Livingston, Yellowstone, and Chico. The shower stall was not as clean as we would like. Access to fire pit requires a short distance walk.

Christmas getaway for the Books!

We were so happy to arrive on Christmas Eve to a fully decorated home including a tree and lights around the loft and back patio! Our family of 6 enjoyed everything about the property. The layout was absolutely perfect for our young kids and older teenagers. The game room was quite the hit! We were a little bummed that there wasn’t snow, so instead of sledding we were able to hike to a cute little playground down below! Very clean and better than advertised. Thanks again!

They Don't Call it Paradise Valley for Nothing!

This place was perfect. It was the cleanest rental we've ever had. It was also the best stocked place we've ever had. It literally had everything we needed. We grilled on the deck overlooking one of our sons catching fish in the Yellowstone River while enjoying a mountain sunset. Being from Texas, we were afraid of not having central air, but it was very comfortable with, "Montana AC." We rafted the river and soaked in Chico hot springs on our first day. There was a bald eagle nest visible from the deck! We were able to get an early start and be in Lamar Valley (Yellowstone) to see multiple bears in the morning hours. We were able to get to Bozeman Airport, Grizzly Encounter, and Museum of the Rockies in under an hour. This place was amazing!

Trip salvaged!

Unfortunately we were in Yellowstone when flooding and evacuation took place. Many of the surrounding communities suffered minor and major damages including some of the roadways and bridges. The communication with the owners/rental facility were awesome in communicating with us days leading up to our rental. They let us know when and what roads were open and if the bridges passed safety inspections etc. After being evacuated from the NP it was so relaxing to spend a few quiet calm days at this beautiful home! Watched deer stroll past our hot tub in the evening, spotted eagles and enjoyed sipping wine watching the sunsets. We also made a trip to the local saloon for a live concert that raised money for the locals! Such great people and great country!

Property Management Concerns

Our family was stuck in a blizzard which delayed our arrival. The property manager did not respond to our emails over the weekend and denied any request for a refund and was rude in his response. The door was left unlocked and the hot tub was turned off and we had to wait a day for the hot tub to heat up. All of our previous experiences with VBRO's have been great, but this one was not.

Perfect getaway

Love, love, love Chicory on the Yellowstone! Fantastic location close to everything in the valley. Home is as good as the photos show. Very clean, so comfortable and very well stocked. I will definitely be staying here again.

Can’t beat the views or sunsets!

Property was amazing! Right next to the Yellowstone river! Off the beaten path, have to drive a bit to a grocery store but that’s what we wanted! The property does seem a bit smaller than the pictures but perfect for 4-6 people. The kitchen is stocked up with most of your needs. Check to see what’s there before going to the grocery store. We will be back! Thanks!

Great House

We had an amazing stay during our time in Pray. The house is great. Having the Yellowstone river in the backyard was awesome and seeing elk on the mountainside nearly everyday was incredible. The location is also perfect for our trips into Yellowstone and Bozeman. The only thing I would change would be to make a better path down to the river because when it snowed it was hard to get up and down the steep hill. Overall we loved the house and would definitely come back.

Beautiful Blustery Winter

The house was quite adequate for four adults. The kitchen was well equipped and the fireplace had plenty of firewood. The weather was quite cold and windy, which we loved as long as we could still drive. (A challenge for Southern US natives but the roads were groomed and accessible. ). It would be a perfect location in Summer if you enjoy fishing. Only negatives were a small housekeeping issue we could handle ourselves and a lack of soap in the bath and shower. All in all a positive stay.

Amazing views and beautiful, cozy place!

We had such a great stay at the Chicory. The house was so cozy and inviting. The view is unbeatable! The sound of the river was calming and the neighborhood was quiet. It felt very private and isolated even though it wasn’t. The fireplace was a nice touch too. It’s a nice, centrally located place if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Bozeman but be close enough to spend the day there. Perfect location if you’re headed to Yellowstone! The owner was so nice too! Overall, an amazing stay!

Gorgeous!

Pictures don’t do this property justice. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub is the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. The Old Saloon right down the road is great for a cocktail, and definitely stop for a soak in the nearby hot springs. We are already planning our next trip back.

Stunning home away from home!!

We chose this property based on the location to the north Yellowstone entrance (an easy and beautifully scenic 40-45min drive) for our Thanksgiving vacation for our family of 5. Since the park is only open on this entrance in the fall year round, we chose it and it DID not disappoint. It’s not often that the property you stay at outshines the listing photos - it’s even better in the person. From the location, to the views (from every window in the house), to the cleanliness and quality of the home - it far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience a less-touristy part of Montana and truly enjoy the splendor the area has to offer as a local. Everyone had their own bed (which all were comfortable, by the way). We saw wildlife right from the back porch on a daily basis. Multiple bald Eagle sightings, mule deer in the dozens - and a huge buck ran across the front yard and backyard on two different occasions. Our family will forever remember this trip and staying in this home was a big part of that. Take a swim in Chico Hot Springs, only a 15 minute drive south. It’s definitely an experience worth having! Grab a burger at the Saloon right next to it- you won’t be disappointed!
