The whole property is beautiful and historic. The house is laid out very well, with elegant common rooms and most bedrooms having their own bathroom. The grounds are peaceful and expansive enough to go on walks. Host responded immediately to any questions or concerns, and was proactive about making sure our stay was wonderful.

The property was beautiful and allowed for plenty of room and spaces to relax and unwind. The bedrooms were lovely and each room had its own bath. The grounds were beautiful with breathtaking sunsets too!

This is an amazing property in a beautiful setting. The house is very well equipped and rooms are spacious. There are several sitting rooms for group gatherings. The gourmet kitchen is large, well equipped. My only criticism is that much of the seating in upholstered furniture is not very comfortable.

Great property

We have stayed at this property a couple of times now and really enjoy the home and its surroundings. The house is the perfect size for a group to spread out and have their own space.

The most perfect stay, will stay again.

We rented the home for three nights with the whole family for our daughter's wedding weekend. It was just so; truly perfect, the home, the landscaping, the view, we plan to do it again next year!

The house was used for a college friends’ weekend. The house was perfect for this with large bedrooms rooms with adjoining bathrooms for each one of us. Also, there were great gathering spaces including the spacious dining room.

This house is amazing. What a great experience. Stayed here with my family, parents and in-laws for Syracuse graduation weekend. Everyone loved coming back to the house after ceremonies to relax and enjoy the beautiful views and comfort of the house with so much character. Loved waking up to the horses in the fields behind the house. Loved it. Hope to be back again.

Another great stay at Hobbit Hollow

This is our 3rd year staying and it's a great property. Lots of room for multiple adults and children, it sits on a beautiful landscape and is a short drive to town. The property manager is very attentive and responsive. We would definitely stay again.

We could not have been more pleased with our Hobbit Hollow stay! The house was extraordinary with bathrooms in every bedroom and with every amenity possible. But to top it off, our contact, Daniel, was incredible! I’ve had a fairly extensive experience with VRBO and other rental outfits and Daniel was far and away the best I have ever dealt with - his responsiveness, at all hours was phenomenal and he was kind, informative and truly interested in helping to provide the best experience possible for our family. We are already looking to book Hobbit Hollow for our next family reunion.

Family stay for Skaneateles wedding

This place is amazing - maintained incredibly true to its style, clean & very functional. The property is amazing as well. You cannot go wrong with a stay here. We had everything we needed - from kitchen to outdoor gathering space. Highly recommend!

Another year and great winter getaway

This is our second year in a row staying at this property. It's a great house for large groups, is well maintained, clean, well equipped and has historic charm. The property manager is very responsive and accomodating. I'd definitely recommend this property to other families.

Our stay at Hobbit Hallow House was truly exceptional. The property manager went above and beyond throughout our visit, always available and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. His attentiveness made a great experience even better.The house itself was spacious, beautifully maintained, and more than comfortable for our group of ten. With its high layout and open design, everyone had plenty of room to relax without ever feeling crowded.One of our favorite parts of the stay was spending evenings outdoors in the massive yard. The peaceful surroundings and the view of the horses in the distance created a perfect backdrop for unwinding at the end of each day.I would highly recommend Hobbot Hallow House to anyone looking for a relaxing, well‑managed, and scenic getaway.

Family Fun

A great gathering of family and friends to celebrate the 4th of July, a new marriage and two birthdays. The house was perfect, spacious and very comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and kitchen worked perfectly for our mostly outside party. Location is very convenient, and the lake view a nice bonus, highly recommend.

AMAZING! Perfect for Syracuse graduation!

We stayed here for Syracuse graduation weekend. We wished we had stayed longer! The property is amazing and had plenty of space for all the grandparents, parents, and siblings. There's a gorgeous view and every amenity that we could have wanted. Thank you!
