We had the best time ever staying at Myrtle Cottage! The room was amazing and everything about the stay made us feel so comfortable! Will definitely be coming back. The food at the cafe was also exceptional.

Lovely place to stay. Clean, spacious, quiet - great service at the cafe and lovely village. However, you need to be fit and agile to manage the stairs to the bathroom. They really MUST be replaced before someone does some major damage to themselves (I’m sure they are not up to code.)Other than that,

Accomodation

The cottage was lovely, however due to arthritis I would rather all one level. The larger room next to it would be more suitable. Lovely place though and would stay again.

Weekend Away

Ideal location if don’t want to travel all way to the vineyards and want a different experience and pleasant drive from getting off at Peats Ridge exit instead of going all way on M1.

Just a short getaway

Really enjoyed our time in Wollombi. Lovely comfortable little cottage in the heart of the village. Enjoyed checking out the history of the lovely village & surrounds. Good day trip

Besides the shower not working properly had no pressure and the heater wasnt really functioning the overall stay here was good right next to the cafe owner was very helpfull in helping me check in it was more then enough to attend a wedding thank you.

Enjoyable

Very nice, a toaster and/or microwave would be handy for early risers, not having to wait on cafes to open. Clear instructions on getting tv reception. Otherwise nice and perfect location to everything.

Great stay !

Great spot and very comfortable. No milk on arrival but brought my own long life so no problem, Cafe next door fantastic but does close early afternoon. It does open at 7am for coffee and 8am kitchen. The steps up to the bathroom have to be managed carefully !
