Escape to our cozy retreat nestled in the heart of the Eastern Townships. Ideally located just 20 minutes from Mont Orford’s hiking trails, 5 minutes from picturesque Lake Massawippi, and a short drive from the vibrant town of Magog, the Wood Loft offers a warm and unique getaway. With easy access to nearby attractions and only 1.5 hours from Montreal, it’s the perfect destination for remote workers seeking a change of scenery or anyone craving a peaceful retreat.

The Wood Loft is part of our charming Ayer’s Barn, featuring a unique design and filled with natural light. Though modest in size (450 square feet), it’s fully equipped for a comfortable stay and radiates a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Located in the heart of Ayer’s Cliff village, the Wood Loft is just steps away from local amenities, including a grocery store, summer farmer’s market, butcher shop, SAQ, and cozy cafés and restaurants. While you may occasionally hear passing trucks during the day, evenings are usually quiet and perfect for a restful night.

Discover the beauty of the region year-round, with nearby attractions like Lake Massawippi, Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, Foresta Lumina, and Mont Orford National Park. For a relaxing day, unwind by the shores of Ayer’s Cliff Lake or treat yourself to a visit at the Spa Nordic Station.

Host with the Most

Guillaume and Julette are warm and very ready to work with their guests. The apartment is inviting and has all we need. The neighborhood is lovely and the property itself is gorgeous! We have stayed here more than once already.

Lovely garden suite.

Picturesque garden suite. Very lovely spot, only regret is not staying longer. Plus we ran into the hosts on the way in, who were so sweet.

It is a very good place to visit Ayers Cliff but my fault I didn’t pay attention at the pictures and didn’t notice the latter to access the bed been 66 and older was risky for us to climb up there and forgot to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night , for younger people it’s perfect loft but older think about it The owners are great and very helpful Enjoy

C’est remarquablement bien centré ce qui nous permet d’explorer la région, Magog, Standstead, North Hartley, etc…. Idéal comme camp de base. Restaurant super bon, tout est à porter de main. Tout a été excellent.

Great stay in Ayer's Cliff

Very adorable and clean place located right in town. On the main road, but set back so the traffic wasn't too loud. Conveniently located near the center of town, well-stocked store within walking distance. The place had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi, which turned out to be a widespread issue that the owners were very responsive and communicative about. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back!

Cozy loft in Ayer's Cliff

Lovely, quiet, private and well appointed! Everything needed for a weekend escape from the city. The fire pit was the reason we chose it, but it provided both indoor and outdoor enjoyment! Plenty of books, TV with all the streaming, places to eat and enjoy a game of cards, cozy bed loft, well thought out kitchen equipment and tools... and attentive and helpful hosts. Perfect place to rest and recharge!

L’arrivée s’est bien passée. Tout était bien expliqué. Les hôtes ont souvent communiqué avec nous pour être certains que tout allait bien. Très propre et bien situé. Le loft est bien garni avec tout le nécessaire. À recommander! Merci pour le popcorn! Ce fut apprécié!

Bel hébergement et service impeccable

Bel hébergement, propre et beau design Réponses très rapides des propriétaires lorsque nous avions des questions. Nous avons mis cinq étoiles pour la localisation pour ceux qui souhaite être au cœur des activités touristiques. L'avantage est par contre d'être tranquille lorsqu'on revient à l'hébergement. Merci aux propriétaires et nous recommandons chaleureusement cet hébergement :-)

Cozy ,comfy , and clean

Notre week-end était parfait! Et cela même si il a plut les deux jours et que nous n'avions pas d'auto... Très beau loft, impeccable, tout est à la portée. Très calme même si près d'une route. Petit village charmant avec toutes les commodités.Le resto-bar de l'Auberge sert d'excellents repas. Par contre l'échelle pour aller à la mezzanine pose un petit problème pour une personne âgée. C'est le seul petit hic! La causeuse pourrait être remplacée par un divan-lit et ce serait bien. Merci à Guillaume et Juliette. Nous reviendrons sûrement... À bientôt!

Wood loft que de bons souvenirs!

Nous avons passé une belle semaine dans ce loft chaleureux. Très bien situé avec une superbe cour! Tout était à proximité et vous ne manquerez de rien car il y a tout ce qu'il vous faut dans le loft. Les propriétaires répondent rapidement aux questions. Je recommande!

Lovely stay!

Had a lovely stay! Home was adorable, clean, and cozy. Host was very responsive and helpful! Slept great in the loft - you do need to use a ladder but it’s sturdy and we could sit up in the loft area comfortably. Would certainly recommend!
