Unique funky Arthouse ‘Franks Place’ Hunchy Valley

Welcome to my Sunshine Coast paradise. A former TV Producer & World Champion, health and fitness advocate i wanted to create a space for the unique experience of Training outdoors in the lush rolling hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Franku for choosing to stay and play in my playground for grown ups & pets 🐾.
This Property is in dedication to the memory of the greatest border collie who touched so many in so many ways. 💙 Frank crossed over the Rainbow Bridge 11/5/21.

When the property now known as "Timber Gym" was purchased back in 2005 with my then partner while i was working on Big Brother it was a blank canvas, literally. There was nothing not a driveway nor a tree in sight but it's sheer natural beauty inspired me to create something special, some day - it was love at first sight.

I spent the next few years competing while living down the coast till a relationship break-up and a business break up meant turning my back on competitive bodybuilding and 'running to the hills' with the then border collie pup to 'start again' seemed like a good option... it ended up being the start of an entire chapter if not entire book in the Hunchy Hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

It has been a work in progress over the years, fortunately, my father was a builder... so when i had the 'build it they will come' moment back in 2012 to create a one of a kind outdoor Gym where i could train clients, run workshops and classes and people could bring their pets it went off!! Timber Gym was built and born 5 x 5m2 solid Hardwood Posts with a skillion roof looked spectacular from the road. But i always had grander plans for the Timber gym was well and truly over capitalized and my life as a Coach was limited.

Upon his retirement, he hand-built both the 'Frank's place' (2015) and enclosed the Original Timber Gym to create a stunning red cedar cabin (2017) which became obvious to continue the theme of Pet Friendly to be one of the first Pet-Friendly accommodations in Montville.

During Covid sadly the stairs had finally become too much so we moved back into our newly renovated Original space for his final 12 months on terra firma. During this time the main house was rented out permanently - the irony of Frank leaving and my tenants leaving the same day in may 2021 left me with the decision to which the spirit of Frank guided me towards pushing through the initial grief to create and open 'Frank's Place' launched July 2021.

...The Views, The Views did i mention The Views!! Lushing Rolling Hills, Spectacular and Unique Wildlife and 3.5 acres of hinterland habitat to explore yet just a few minutes from the magic of montville.
