Cozy and Inviting

We had to travel to Indy for family, so decided since we were halfway there, that we would look in the Fort Wayne area for a little house to spend a couple nights so that we could see the Auburn, Deusenberg and Cord museum and National Automobile and truck museum (located side by side in Auburn) as a bucket list goal. This home was fresh and inviting. The chickens are gone at present, but that can change at any time. I use a cpap, and there is one end table in the bedroom where it could be placed—(i always brings a power strip and extension cord to make sure i have a way to plug that in. The hostess, Clara, was considerate and thoughtful, checking in on us, as our arrival date was during a snowstorm. Would return if ever needed to stay in the area again!

Halloween

Perfect. cozy and quiet. Wonderful for Halloween with my family. Seems like a small house, but doesn't feel small inside. The craft room was perfect for us, as my children and I love creating, and had some final touches to make on our Halloween costumes. We brought one air bed, and there was plenty of room for the four of us. We had everything there we could need, and didn't have to worry about a thing. I really loved this house!

Screened in porch - was my favorite feature!

Cute house, nicely decorated, very clean - host was was great. Description of the listing was a little misleading, as it sounded like this location was in the country on 17 acres, not in a neighborhood with close neighbors nearby. If I known the neighbors were so close I might have passed on this listing. However, the neighborhood was fairly quiet and the location to Fort Wayne was very convenient. The screened in porch was my favorite spot in the whole house. A few additional comfortable seating chairs out there for couples to enjoy the space together would have been a bonus, along with in the game room area. Additional chairs is needed for couples wanting to sit together to do the arts/crafts and puzzles together at the tables. Thank you for a relaxing weekend!
