Grand View Inn

Excellent for our entire family. Plenty of space to be together as well as rooms for small groups to play games or just talk. The older kids really enjoyed the basketball court. The kitchen was big enough that several people could comfortably work. people

Seriously The Best

We LOVED this property. It was MASSIVE, with multiple staircases, rooms, etc. The kids thought they were in a movie with an older house with secret rooms. It was absolutely perfect.

Awesome

The house was everything described in the listing! It was plenty big enough for our family and a few friends! There was plenty of room to spread out. The basketball court inside and out was a hit as well as foosball and pool table! I would definitely recommend this house for a large group!unnecessary. The train was kind of close but my nephews did love watching the train wiz by!!!The host was very quick to respond, which was appreciated.

Great house for big groups!

The house was perfect for our big group of 14 that was spending a long weekend in the Dells. Lots of space for everyone, not only with the bedrooms and bathrooms but the house goes on and on with common spaces to spread out inside and out. The house was fully stocked from the kitchen to the towels and they even provided the first 5 logs of firewood which was so generous. It has a great location close to the downtown area and it was very quick drives to get to Monk’s, Ishnala and the golf course. The host was quick to reply to any questions. The only issues were that the basement rooms were fairly cold even with the heat turned up and as others have mentioned there is a railroad track with trains that sound their horn right behind the property that is fairly loud.

Beautiful, well cared for home, walkable to activities

Our large family had a wonderful time here! Plenty of space and activities on the property while also being just a few blocks away from the main drag of downtown Dells. We also appreciated all the little spots on the property that the grandkids could "discover", like the apple trees and swings. Mary, our point of contact, was also very responsive over phone and made our stay even better.

Great House in Great Location

We had a great time staying at the house. There is tons of room in the house and the basement is fantastic. The basketball court was a hit. You can be to downtown is minutes.

The pictures suggest a wonderful place with a thousand words. But the actual ascend up the driveway uses them all. Absolutely stunning, an absolute beautiful experience inside and outside.

Beautiful, spacious home

If you are looking for a place that offers enough space for 15 (ages 12 to 80) to enjoy, this is the place. It is clean, comfortable and very spacious. This place has many different spaces that people can enjoy. The game area, including a pool table, foosball, dart board, and basketball hoop, was enjoyed by all the family members. The fire pit area was a great spot for nightly family s'more making fun.

One of a kind!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Our large family gathered for a week of fun and the house was perfect for all ages. Plenty of space to spread out, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen to prep large meals, and lots of beautiful outdoor space for kids to run and play! Awesome stay!

We had the most amazing time celebrating my birthday and our 34th anniversary! We stayed with our children and grandchildren. The house was absolutely gorgeous and our 3 year old granddaughter absolutely loved it and wants to go back again soon. We would recommend this house over and over again😍❤️

Spacious, Quiet and Beautiful

What a great place to stay. Not the norm. Neat history, good amenities and the house seemed to go on for days! We took advantage of the spacious kitchen, charcoal grill for preparing meals. The outdoor fire pit was a great plus as well. It was awesome that you could be so close to everything downtown and yet feel like you were in a quiet rural country setting. Only drawback during our stay was the train that would blow its horn at night (the tracks run along backside of property). However, it was usually pretty short lived. We will likely seek out this place again when in the area. Our host contact was very responsive as well. Highly recommend!

Everything we wanted and more!

I found this gem when looking for a rental where the house would be the attraction. I stayed here with my husband, our 4 teenage kids and my sister. The house was everything we wanted and then some. The kids loved the indoor basketball court and the pool table while the adults loved the quiet nooks. The kitchen was bright and wonderful to work in - with all the needed amenities. We look forward to our next visit!

Beautiful home, lots of space

Our family of 6, with kids ranging from 12 - 20 years old, all really liked this home and found plenty of entertainment. We enjoyed all the room to spread out, the indoor basketball, pool table and foosball and the large yard and fire pit. For this being a historic home, it felt so warm and inviting, with so much room. No wasted space, they thought of everything here, whether anyone wanted personal space or we all wanted multiple areas to hang out together, it was wonderful. Our only negative was location, solely due to the train horns through the night - 1/2 slept through them, 1/2 woke up every time. Despite this, still a 5-star overall and we would definitely return.

Girls Weekend

Wonderfully appointed property. We had a great weekend really enjoyed our time at the house. Tried to spend at least a little time in each room. There were so many it was hard to choose 😊 Rooms were comfortable and we had plenty of space for all of us. Thanks for sharing your house!

A great place for a vacation

We had a great guys weekend at the Grand View Inn. This house is incredible. Everything was very clean, every amenity promised was delivered and there was more room than we knew what to do with. The pictures do not do it justice. Easy access to the waterparks, attractions and bars/restaurants made this location convenient as well as luxurious. There were some reviews mentioning the train noise, but don't worry about that at all. If I go back to the Dells I would absolutely rent this place again.

Beautiful home and property

If you’re looking for a roomy, clean, safe, comfortable home to spend with family or friends in the Dells, you won’t be disappointed with this one! All the little details including a wonderful gift basket with local goodies, comfortable beds and linens, plenty of sitting areas with TV’s. Basketball court and gaming area were a big hit! Mary was wonderful and prompt with answering questions about the property. 20/10 on this one! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Great home with lots of space.

My family used this home as a place to get together for the holidays. My kids live all across the state and this was a perfect central location and a great place for some fun activities as well. The home was very nice and very clean with plenty of room for everyone. We have been renting homes for family get togethers for the last few years and this was the best overall experience by far. One morning we even had about a dozen cardinals fly up into the trees outside the kitchen windows. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a spot for their family to stay in Wisconsin Dells.

Great. Clean. Lots of activities

House had everything you would need for a stay. Had lots of equipment for cooking in the kitchen like pots and pans and utensils. Lots of room to spread out, almost to many different rooms. The basketball court was awesome! Nice foosball table to use also. If you are looking for a spot to stay in the dells with kids other than the typical water parks, this is your spot.

Excellent Home

Beautiful and stations home! Convenient area. Very nice, safe and clean! Only complaint is the master bedroom backs up to train tracks that blares its horn twice during the night-every night. Unfortunately we had to use that bedroom but if we had fewer guests, we would have left that bedroom empty due to noise. Other than that, amazing stay! Highly recommend!
