PEMBE is part of Customs House is one bedroom apartment with views across the beach in KALKANâs historic old town .
DESCRIPTION
Constructed as a pension / pub by a Greek Entrepreneur in 1854 , Kalkan âs Customs House is perhaps the most well known , treasured landmark in the town . The building, like its surroundings , is steeped in history and this wonderful property was recently refurbished.
On first floor level , accessed by exterior stairs , Pembe apartment puts you right in the centre of KALKANâs vibrant dining scene and just stoneâs throw from the beach which is a good alternative to hotel accommodation. This apartment offers an open plan living area with newly fitted kitchen ( equipped to self - cater ) a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom ( sea views ) and a balcony also with sea and harbour views . The apartment is accessed via an external staircase .
The Customs House also features three other properties, Providing the ideal opportunity for larger groups of family and friends to holiday together at neighbouring properties but still retain their own privacy. The other three apartments here :

-Large water tank in case of water shortage ,
-Sea views from each apartment,
-Welcome amenities on arrival( essentials)
-Roof Top terrace with plunge pool ( sole use for CHF)

-Above all , You do not have to walk up a steep hill after meals and wait in taxi queue late at night . A very pleasant week in a charming property in sunny Kalkan. The air conditioning was very effective during an unexpecte
+ Property was in an area we know well and provided compact accommodation which fully met our requirements.
- The front access steps needed careful handling because I have some mobility problems at present - but I knew this would be an issue, and it was my own decision to choose the apartment.

Nice apartment for 2 persons. We stayed 4 persons and it was too much. It is quite difficult to sleep on the living area because of the noise from the street. Fortunately wasnât a noisy street⊠after 11:00pm we could sleep.
- Old building, not soundproofed.
Missing enough facilities like trash bags or toilet paper - it is not pleasant to waste time from our holiday for going to the supermarket for these small things :).
+ Location was stunning.Very safe for solo traveller and had everything needed for a short stay.
Air con was excellent.
Welcome food pack a pleasant surprise.
Mr Ibrahim was excellent at communication.
