House was not equipped for large group s and was dirty.

It was apparent the cabin had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. There were stains on the comforters, crumbs in the bed, pill bottles found in the night stands. The biggest thing was that there wasn't Sufficient salt, paper towels, no dish towels, and shampoo/ conditioner for a couple of people. When large groups are coming to stay, this should be provided. Also, the fire pit is inside a bunch of weeds that have not been maintained and the 2nd bathroom is located inside one of the rooms so this was inconvenient for 10+ people to make work. Cabin definately med a good clean. We left our much cleaner than it was and made sure we stripped the beds. enough salt, nightstandan bott

Family Getaway

Overall, the experience was great. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to make a great meal. Great views of Bear Lake, more than expected. There was a lot of outdoor seating. There is a lot of space, the Manager left Keurigs which was a nice touch. We would stay here again.

Great Family Time Shared

Our stay as a family was once again marvelous. We always enjoy our time together, sharing memories of times past and making new memories with our ever growing family. Bear Lake has become a forever wonderful week each year. of relaxation, enjoying the beautiful water, and of sharing each other's company. Fish Haven was very pleasant, quiet, and relaxing. The property was for the most part terrific. Would have liked more closets and hangers in each of the rooms that did not have a closet, only dressers were available. Discovered that this property was originally only a two bedroom, one bathroom. Those two bedrooms were smaller, but had closets. Also discovered that the garage was converted into two bedrooms, which wasn't stated in the property description. Moreover, the second bedroom in that once garage, could only be accessed by going through the first bedroom, which wasn't a huge deal for us, yet, it made for a rather uncomfortable situation at times. The separate entrances were nice and the king size beds in each of those rooms including the master bedroom were nice and comfortable. Sharing the bathrooms and entering the 2nd bedroom from what was once the garage was a challenge. The deck on the main floor was our favorite spot! We used it nightly (4 nights). It was a wonderful gathering spot to look out onto the lake in the distance and for cooking on the grill, and for just hanging out.

Reasonable price, lots of bedrooms, one bed per room

Check in and out was super easy, and they were flexible when I needed another hour to run kids to the little airport thirty minutes away. I really appreciated having bedrooms rather than a big dormitory with tons of beds in one room. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots and pans, gas in the grill and gas at the cute fire pit. It was really a great location and a great space.

The deck area was very nice and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the covered deck. The one thing we didn't like was a person had to walk through a bedroom to get to the only bathroom downstairs. Downstairs had 2 queen beds and a king bed. It was a very nice property otherwise. We would stay there again.
