Bev & Gary, We totally AGREE and apologize for this terrible inconvenience! The building renovations had been disclosed but when we found out about the water line we immediately reached out to you before the stay to give you an opportunity to cancel. Unfortunately, instead we agreed on a rate adjustment. If either of us knew the project was going to be delayed we would have cancelled for sure. Even through this ordeal you were the most patient and kind guests. We appreciate honest reviews and hope that you will come back and enjoy our place under much better circumstances. Thank you again for being beyond understanding with us! Susan and Danny

We love to host and respect all our guests! There is an ongoing project currently on the front island side of the building which is mentioned in our listing. We are on the Gulf side and our past guests, neighbors and the office staff told us that any noise from the project had not been an issue for our unit on the Gulf side. We were trying to find out if perhaps the noise Angela heard was coming from a nearby unit's renovations. She said she would share a video of the noise with us but never did. In any case, Angela arrived a day late and said it made her extremely upset and nervous just by seeing the scaffolding on the front of the building. She then complained about the noise and told us she had a health condition that she would break out in hives from noise. We immediately called Vrbo and as they requested we went back and forth to try and negotiate a partial refund. After staying 4 nights and no closer to making Angela happy as she only wanted half off. We didn't understand how she would be able to stay due to her health. How would half off change that? We requested that Vrbo help to relocate her and we cancelled the reservation giving her a FULL REFUND so that she could enjoy the rest of her stay elsewhere on Marco Island. We apologized and felt we did the right thing. Susan and Danny

Gerald and Barbara, Thank you for your 5 star review! We really appreciate your feedback. Summer is when we take a look around to see what maintenance needs to be done and what can be upgraded. The living room sofa was on order and we are excited to say it has arrived! We have changed the photos to reflect our new decor. As for the grab bar it's a great idea - done! Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and we hope that you will book with us again! Best Regards Susan and Danny

Mikhail, Thank you for your Great Review! We are so happy you enjoyed our place and that you will be back again. Thank you for booking with us again in 2022! We are looking forward to your stay! Susan and Danny

Tim, Thank you for taking the time to review our property and share your experience. We only wish you would have told us the bed was not to your comfort level. We have never had a complaint about our mattress and we find it comfortable but being every guest has a different preference we do store a mattress topper labeled in the closet for those that desire a more pillow top feel. We try our best to accommodate everyone. With that we do hope you would consider staying with us again! We enjoyed having you. Susan and Danny

Mike, Thank you for your 5 star review and taking the time to share your experience. We would welcome you back anytime! Thank you for being our guests. Susan and Danny
