The cabin was perfect, quiet, well-kept, had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the scenery and peace and quiet. The landlords and manager were so responsive when we had questions, we had a wonderful time.

Mountain Getaway

This cabin was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The views are excellent and the area is quiet. It was a great base camp for our fly fishing adventures.

Perfect getaway!

My husband and I needed a quick and relaxing weekend getaway and this home was absolutely perfect! We were so comfortable, it was a quick drive into Woodland for access to restaurants and stores but yet felt like we really did get away. Highly recommend!!

We stayed in Florissant with two of our siblings to attend my son’s wedding. We absolutely loved the home. I ended up cooking for a dinner to take to the wedding venue on Sunday. The kitchen and entire cabin was well and beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the two upper floors was wonderful. The host was very responsive to our question and check in/close out procedures were easy to follow.

Florissant Co. cabin June 2025

The Mountain View was great. Cabin clean, no dishwasher. Bedroom #1 was downstairs which was not indicated in the description and a bit of a surprise. Bedroom #2 was an upstairs loft which was described adequately. All bathrooms were great. Living area seemed overcrowded with too much big furniture Outside deck has a severe slope and felt totally unsafe with one corner held together by tightening pip straps.

Great Family Cabin

My family enjoyed this cabin so much. It is in a quiet neighborhood within driving distance to several different attractions. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

Perfect Location

Great stay while our daughter attended High Trails camp just outside of town. Beautiful home, well stocked kitchen, comfy furniture and all the amenities for an easy stay! Thanks for a great couple days!

Great Stay

We were only here for 2 nights but loved our stay. The house was clean and was as described. House is located on a quiet street just off of the highway which made traveling easy. Also an easy drive to Colorado Springs or Cripple Creek areas.

Florissant escape

This is our first choice when we visit our kids in Florissant - so convenient to them and and all of the creature comforts we like while we're there. Mgmt always listens to any of our needs, very accommodating.

Cabin

Great Cabin that is close enough to everything yet secluded enough that you can relax. This house had a full kitchen which was a huge plus. The crockpot was a great way to cook food while gone and be able to eat when you got home. It was a cozy house with a fireplace and comfy couches. It was a great place to go especially after being stuck in the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine for 8 plus hours.

Great Location

Very clean, great communication with property manager, well equipped with all the things we needed, location was central to many of the outdoors activities we were looking for. Even with the snowstorm and multiple feet of snow, Bruce was able to get the drive plowed.

Nice

The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed including coffee. The location is nice the drive is pretty, a park right across the street. The stairs are steep and sloped outside and the inside ones are also taunting up to the balcony bedroom. The most disappointing thing of our stay was the balcony looks and feels like it’s coming off the house. I was extremely nervous to be on irt or let my kids on it. It’s clearly falling and sloped out. So sadly we didn’t get to use that much. The basement smelled like garage. Which would go away when we opened the window but came back when closed.

Great Escape

My family and I enjoyed a nice trip out to the Colorado Springs area. While the house was further out from some of the local attractions the views along the way and there were completely worth it! We enjoyed the deer that came out early morning and night to the edge of the balcony. The house was great and was everything we needed for a family with preteens. We would definitely recommend!

Luxury living in a cabin

We enjoyed this cabin so much. They spared no expense in outfitting this space. It was perfect for two older adults who each like their own bedroom. There is a bathroom on each of three floors. We used the grill and now might even buy it for ourselves. Beds are very comfortable.

Beautiful comfy romantic getaway

We stayed for our 2nd wedding anniversary and honeymoon. It was beautiful, the interior design is really on point. We enjoyed lazy mornings on the patio. We felt pampered and secluded. Taking a few cans of Oxygen helped us with the altitude, especially at night. The property description could be more helpful by mentioning that the entry is a walk up a fairly steep upgrade, not suitable for people with ambulatory issues or handicaps. We (in our 50s) worried about falling when carrying up our bags but did fine otherwise. Make sure to take time to visit the amazing pizza place about 30 minutes further from Colorado Springs called Zuccaros Kitchen in Hartsel... Totally worth the trip! Thank you for making this a lovely trip to remember!

Colorado Kayak Adventure

The cabin is as described, clean and comfortable. The driveway is a bit steep and narrow, you need good clearance no matter which side you approach from. There was a trailer parked in the driveway while we were there making it difficult to park two vehicles and maneuver around one when only using one car for the day. The second bedroom on the lower level is pretty tight and there is not much space for luggage. The neighborhood is nice but there is not much privacy when sitting on the deck. The location was great for day trips to Breckenridge, Aspen as well as Rampart Reservoir and Eleven Mile Reservoir for kayaking. Overall our stay was very nice.

Summer Vacay

Overall we had a great stay. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Furnishings were nice. The views are great from the deck. Florissant is a great little town and you should definitely go to Iron Tree Brewery for an exceptional burger! The grocery store is well stocked. A couple of things to note…the cabin is on a steep hill and requires a bit of an incline climb to enter and there are 3 levels with lots of stairs so it may not be elderly/small child friendly. Note that there is no A/ C so the loft can be toasty for sleeping (probably not a problem normally but the temps were super hot while we were there) Communication and ease of entry were great. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
