Family vacation home, no adult parties! Fully equipped four season 3 bedroom +loft cottage on the lake, just 1,5 hours from GTA. Natural privacy, perfect sunsets on approximately 3 acres and 200 feet of private lakefront. Sandy beach with shallow entrance to the lake, good fishing. Large driveway with gated access to the cottage. Nature path leads to the common area with long dock and shared tennis court.

Stunning cottage

The cottage is beautiful, extremely well equipped and right on the lake! The water is shallow for kids and gets about waist deep off the larger dock. I’d highly recommend this with about a 20 min drive to Gravehurst but secluded to feel you are in the middle of nowhere, stunnng!

Lovely peaceful getaway

Amazing quiet lovely cottage. Highly recommend. Would stay again. Well appointed has everything you need. Lake is ideal for paddleboarding and sandy beach is perfect for kids.

Overall good experience

We spent a week at this property with our child and her three cousins, so eight of us in all. The lakefront area is really pretty and the kids all enjoyed the floating dock thing and playing in the lake. Unfortunately, we were there during what must have been peak blackfly season so our ability to sit outside and enjoy the fire pit and little sandy beach area was extremely limited. We did appreciate that the water was warm (it's quite shallow, with some weeds growing and water lilies), much warmer than Muskoka where we stayed the week before. It allowed the kids to play in the water for much longer. We liked using the kayaks, too and the hammock was fun. We were surprised to be notified before arriving that we should bring our own sheets and towels, this felt unusual for this type of rental, but were grateful that the owner let us use theirs when we let them know we were not local. This still meant I needed to make up all the beds (and we did all the linens before we left). It was hot while we were there and while the main floor was a lovely temp, it was a bit hot in the bedrooms at night. We used the fans and it generally cooled down as the night wore on. We really loved seeing chipmunks, squirrels and an otter (beaver?) and many birds. It was a bit far to get to Bala, Bracebridge or Gravenhurst. We appreciated very prompt responses from the host.

Wonderful Stay - Excellent Host - Excellent Cottage

This was the second time we've stayed at this cottage. Everything exceeds our expectations. The host is extremely thoughtful, very fast and detailed communication, and provides all the details and instructions needed to have a great stay. Very clean, and family friendly cottage. The location on a calm lake with lots of options for family things to do (both in water, on land, and within the cottage). Wonderful stay and we look forward to staying there again!

Family Winter Getaway

Excellent property! Very spacious and well laid out, cozy and comfortable. The property was clean and well stocked. The host was responsive and left nothing lacking. I would highly recommend a stay here, it was even better then advertised.

Amazing

Hanna wrote to ask about our stay. Here was my response: Thank you! I unfortunately didn’t get there (damn hockey and kid fevers). But my husband did and took a group of four 11 year old boys. He said it was the best equipped cottage we’ve ever rented, best value for cost and rivaled a mansion on Georgian bay in Tiny we rented for a few years. We will definitely come again.

Wonderful stay

The property is wonderful. Every little detail has been thought of from the owner and the cottage is well equipped for families. We had a one year old and a six year old with us. Tons of games and amenities within the cottage. The property owner is fantastic to deal with. She answered every one of my questions punctually and in detail, gave all the necessary information proactively and was a joy to interact with through the whole process. I would definitely recommend this cottage for a visit to the Gravenhurst area.

Greatest family vacation yet

From the moment we pulled up to the driveway we were amazed at the beautiful property, cottage/home and waterfront. The family loved exploring the property with the trail for a walk, the beach playing in the sand and water and the fire pit in the evening. The cottage was a great place to spend the week escaping from the daily grind. The kayaks made the water enjoyable daily. To our surprise there were lots of great toys that the kids (2 and 4) loved playing with inside the house when they needed a break from the beach and water. Hanna was very responsive leading up to our stay making sure everything we needed to know was communicated a head of time. Thank you for such an amazing week for my family to relax and let the daily stresses melt away.

Family Fun

Our family truly enjoyed Time to Exhale. So much to do for the whole family. Kayaks and stand up board provided great way to explore the wildlife in and around the bay. We brought our fishing boat launched off North Morisson Lake road and tied to the dock just next door. Fishing was good. Floating couch and swim platforms were excellent for relaxing and playing on. Torrance Barrens was nearby with a selection of trails as was Hardy Lake provincial park. Tennis court provided morning shade. Being a group of 8 it was so nice to be able to all comfortably sit around the kitchen table, totally screened in porch and fire pit. The beach and all the children’s toys provided hours of fun. And all beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well outfitted.

Fantastic Location and Cottage

Excellent communication with the owner before during and after the stay. The cottage is more than equipped with kitchen and cooking items, tons of games and a huge collection of toys for our little guy. There was also a large selection of outside items available including kayaks, horseshoes, life jackets, fishing rods, tennis rackets, and firewood. The beach area and water entrance is clean and sandy without weeds. Fishing is great from shore or in the large lake. The screened in porch is a fantastic room as well to avoid the bugs at night and still look out over the lake. Very private and a great stay had by all. Very highly recommended.

The perfect getaway!

We rented this amazing property for our new years getaway and we couldn’t have been happier. Prior to the stay, a ton of snow had come. The property was well maintained, safe and easy for us to access. From the moment we opened the door, we instantly felt at easy. The cottage is very clean, extremely well equipped and very cozy! The kitchen is fully stocked, having all you could ever need. Our kids also enjoyed the endless toys and games. The screened in porch is an amazing added feature that we enjoyed even in the cold! Communication with the host was great. Always getting back to us quickly with any questions we had. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the summer!

Best vacation ever!!

This stay was the best family vacation ever - there was something amusing for each of the four generations that stayed there - from the "80 somethings" to the 6 and 8 year olds. The property and cottage are stunning, with wonderful little stylish details placed all throughout the three floors! The kitchen was so well stocked with extras that we lacked for nothing. The beds were very comfy and the oldsters could sleep-in due to having their bedroom being on the second floor, (even with the two kids having an early life down on the main floor). There is a great water area for kids with a gradual sandy beach going into shallow water. Further into the water is a floating trampoline to which we attached the large floating mat. The kayaks are very stable, yet smooth to operate and we were often accompanied by a pair of loons.The paddle board was a big hit with the younger two generations. And the socializing raft was an even bigger hit with the adults. There were lots of chairs to enjoy the shoreline and a fire pit which just screamed "we need smores!". Fishing off the nearby dock was a bonus, as was the huge screened in porch that we used every early morning and evening. We had one rainy day, but this cottage has the most games and toys for kids we've ever seen. The kids came charging downstairs to announce that they had discovered a secret and magical room full of toys on the third floor. Quiet times were never so quiet!! LOL All in all, we had a wonderful stay.

Exhale

Spotlessly clean, lots of games and toys for the kids. No need to drag up baby things since the cottage is perfect for a toddler! Great beach area, lots of chairs fishing off the dock, kayaks, sup, canoe and floating trampoline and dock. The deck is completely screened in and that is a bonus. The landscaping is lovely .. such pretty colour flowers greeting us! So well situated btwn Gravenhurst and Orillia. Easy to get around and shop. The Wednesday farmers market in Gravenhurst is amazing for produce and fresh bakery items. Soaps and other wonderful things to shop for. The cottage is quite spacious and accommodated our group of 7 with ease. Only suggestion for improvement is perhaps a little outdoor shower, to rinse off after the beach so no sand tracks into the cottage. 10 out of 10 ... Hannah is always available and responds within moments ! We thoroughly enjoyed our time to exhale!

Amazing cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at Hanna’s cottage! The communication before arriving was very good and the check in process was seamless. Once we arrived, we were amazed at how clean and well equipped the cottage was! The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the entertainment options were endless! From water sports to board games, a fire pit, fully enclosed patio and an excellent bbq, Hanna’s cottage has it all! We will be sure to come back for another relaxing weekend away! Thank you :)

great time away with family

My family spent the past week at this great cottage. Lots of room, supplies comfy beds. screened in muskoka room was great. View from porch amazing especially at sunset. My family had an amazing time. Would go back in a second.
