Bradenton Home

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was good. Kinda surprised the home was rented out with that corner of the eve torn apart. Awkward having a guy just show up whenever to work on the house.

Well-appointed Getaway

We booked this location for a getaway to enjoy while in town for a baseball tournament. Perfect location, very convenient to local establishments, easy to get to from the Sarasota airport. Absolutely loved the back yard - perfect of sun & shade with a fantastic pool for relaxing! Our teens appreciated the house layout for separate hangout spots. Would love to come back another time.

Wish We Stayed At A Hotel Instead

The house smelled like a basement. I had to go purchase an air purifier just to be able to breathe. It still didn’t remove the odor which seemed to partially be coming from the vintage furniture. The pool was not functioning at all. Maintenance came next day but did not repair it - so the kids vacation was ruined. No bed linens for the pull out at all. No blanket or pillow the trundle either. Provided bedding was rough and cheap. Neighborhood isn’t the best either. We woke up one morning to a garage side door open which made us pretty nervous. We ended up leaving a day early due to all the issues. For the price I paid, a hotel would have been a far better choice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 7out of 9 years now I've rented throuh IVP , and next year will be the 10th if God sees fit, 2000 characters lol i can write a book. This year i v reserved on short notice and commited to the fee process before realizing i didn't quite have enough funds on hand to cover it , i made a call my IVP accommodated and the rest is bliss cant wait til next year alreay my only concern which 4 of my 13 grand babies I'll take lol

Great house in a desirable location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Palma Sola! We live on the island and were in between houses so we had the pleasure of renting here for a month. The entire house has been beautifully renovated and decorated very nicely with an island beachy feel. The house is spacious and we loved that it had two separate living spaces, which was great for our teenager or if you had two families sharing the home. The location is great too! You can easily get to all of the great restaurants in the area or quickly hop over to the island for a day at the beach. Last thing, the sunset from the back porch is a perfect way to end the day! I definitely recommend this home. It was perfect!

Beautiful House, Not the Greatest Neighborhood, Bugs

We rented this house to stay in for a family vacation. The neighborhood is definitely not the greatest, and the landscaping is atrocious (overgrown, etc.,) but the house itself is brand new on the inside, gorgeous and very clean. However, after we arrived and started to get settled, we noticed small bugs entering from the bedroom windows. They were all over the beds in two of the bedrooms. As a result, we had to be transferred to another property, but were assured that the bugs would be taken care of. The management company is fabulous - easy to work with and very friendly.

Great rental, but beware it is not trouble free

This spacious house in a good location was ideal for our family reunion. Features are as advertised. However, we had multiple basic problems during our stay... The property management had to be chased with the one exception of Jason. My tally is 8 calls, multiple emails and phone messages for a 1 week stay and 4 in person visits by the property management in order to have TV/WIFI, dishwasher and check-out operable. Very basic features for a rental of this size and cost. I have been offered $150 as compensation for the hours spent by us debugging these issues, not having use of these promised features including hand washing dishes from a dinner for 8 and chasing these folks during what was to be a vacation. It's not the property's fault...it was great, but go in with your eyes wide open here.
