Sparse and Cheap furnishings

Hardly any furniture in the living room and what was there I could pick up at consignment for $200. Had to bring outdoor furniture in to the living room for my family. No dishwasher soap. Very difficult door to lock. Too embarrassed to invite friends over. Overpriced. Live and learn.

A really comfortable stay in Boise

This property is an older house located in an older, established section of Boise. We found it to be very quiet with a minimum of road noise. Access into the house is done through an electronic lock mechanism which worked very well. I'd suggest, though, that the owner include a small explanation about the need to press the little house symbol in the lower right once the code is entered. Just a minor thing that is pretty obvious anyway. The house was extremely clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The furnishings were comfortable for us, including the living room and bedrooms. The internet/wifi was uncommonly fast and the TV selections were pretty awesome! Communications with the property manager were really good. There is a selection of area maps available in the house, which we found helpful. One minor thing for me was the soap and shampoo provided for the bath/shower. I didn't locate any shampoo as such - just conditioner - and the bath soap was in the form of a liquid body wash that was pretty ineffective. Other than that minor thing, both bathrooms were very well stocked with towels and washcloths. All of the appliances in the house worked very well, including the washer and dryer as well as the furnace. Compared with other VRBO rentals that we've had, it rates high on my list because everything worked well, the property manager was very responsive, the internet was awesome, and the location was good for our purposes of visiting family. Thank you for a great experience!

North End stay

House was comfortable. It had most of what we needed. Could have used some steak knives in the kitchen for when we barbecued, and we bought self light charcoal ..grate wasn't cleaned. Therefore couldn't give a 5 star for all categories. House needs a little love, 2 of us got locked in the first bathroom, knob was locked when you close the door. Plenty of fresh towels and nice to have bread, a bottle of wine and coffee available for you. :)

Quiet and spacious

Spotless facility with everything we needed, conveniently located near gas/grocery/recreation. Extremely quiet at night. Kitchen is stocked with all cooking necessities.

This was my first stay and I would recommend this place to others! It’s in a nice quite part of Boise and easy to find. You’re not far from grocery and downtown!

Great House on Quiet Street

This is a nice house on a big corner lot. Fenced in backyard, 3 comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen. Drip coffee maker with filters and even a couple bags of Starbucks coffee. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again but the house could use a little TLC.

Excellent value for a cozy home

Everything went smoothly from the booking and outstanding communication with the property owners. They had all the little extras that most places don’t have or think about. For example, they had ziplock bags, condiments, seasonings, extra kitchen appliances and tableware, to cu-tips and laundry soap. It was a cozy place with soft beds in a great neighborhood for a good price. They didn’t charge crazy extra fees or overpriced housecleaning. So that made it appealing and affordable for us. Definitely recommend. The table was a little small if you had 4 or more you would be challenged to eat a meal together, but the 3 of us it was doable. It’s more like a high top breakfast table to have coffee and toast at. It would be nice to have another place to eat at or a bigger table for 4 or more people. We had an amazing trip and thank the owners for opening their home to us.

Perfect home base in Boise

This home has it all: great location, plenty of space including a nice backyard, well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities (sharp knives! spices!), comfy beds and updated decor, and thoughtful touches like the baskets of toiletries in the bathrooms. The hosts also were very responsive and helpful. If you find yourself in Boise (and you really should), you should stay here.

Great place to stay, comfortable, easy access, central

We really enjoyed this property. It was spacious enough for us to be comfortable, the bed was very comfortable, the backyard was a nice sitting area for the evening. There was everything we needed in the kitchen, and they left bathroom accessories (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) which was a pleasant surprise, espcially since I had forgotten mine. The communication from the property manager was pleasant and well in advance of needs. I would recommend this property!

Pleasant

There was a nice amount of toiletries, spices, condiments, etc. The couch is worn out and uncomfortable and kitchen table was small. Luckily the weather was nice and we could sit out back which was fine. All in all was a nice place to stay and the two negatives listed above really weren't majorly impactful.

Extremely Clean

While this house is older, it was extremely clean with a new refrig, stove & cabinets. The TV was huge and smarter than we were. We never really figured out how to get the football games over the weekend, but that isn't the reason we were there. The one step in the hallway could use a caution sign! Debbie & Chris were both very helpful. Thanks to you both. We really enjoyed our stay!
