Nyrenoverade Modern Farmhouse - West Saugerties / Woodstock

Detta moderna bondgård är centralt beläget mellan städerna Woodstock (7 miles) och Saugerties (8 miles) vid basen av Platte Clove i West Saugerties. Området ligger bara 10 minuter utanför Interstate 87 men känns helt avskild och lugn, omgiven av natur och gamla bondgårdar. Enkel åtkomst till Hunter Mountain för skidåkning (25 min bilresa), staden Hudson (35 min bilresa) och alla andra delar av Catskill-regionen. Vi har listor över de bästa shopping, äta och sightseeing runt och är glada att ge dig tips om vad du ska göra när du är här.

Huset har fem lika inredda sovrum (1 på 1: a våningen, 4 på våning 2) med helt nya sängar drottning storlek och alla nya sängkläder och sängkläder i varje. Rummen är charmiga, ren och mysigt med en blandning av antika och handgjorda möbler. Garderober och byråer är tomma och tillgängliga för gästerna i alla sovrummen på andra våningen, är platsen din!

Första våningen har ett TV-rum med en stor sectional soffa (för 8) och LG SmartTV (med WiFi) och en intilliggande vardagsrum, perfekt för cocktail timme eller kortspel.

Badrummen är ljusa och skinande rena med vägg till vägg tunnelbanan kakel och alla helt nya armaturer.
På övervåningen har badkar med dusch och linneskåp, har första våningen stall dusch och tvätt. Handdukar och badprodukter tillhandahålls.

Hjärtat av huset är 800 kvm kök / matsal stora rummet komplett med rustik gård bord som rymmer 10-12 personer. Vi uppmuntrar gästerna att ge sig hemma och laga mat i huset. Nya rostfria vitvaror och alla köksredskap, glas och porslin du behöver finns.

Detta hus är perfekt för vän träffar, familjeträffar och de som gillar att kasta en Instagram värdig supé! Det finns fantastiska gården står, köttmarknader och vin butiker i området, liksom en lanthandel / café ( "In The Sticks") bara en minuts promenad väg. Vi kan också rekommendera många lokala restauranger som erbjuder catering för middagar, födelsedagsfester och semester måltider. Hudson Valley har ingen brist på god mat!

Amazing house!

I come to this area a couple times a year with a group of friends and we have stayed in a number of houses. I can say that this house was one of the best!! The property was so beautiful and spacious. The house was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The outdoor space was really nice too and the mountain view’s were spectacular. The property owners were also very nice and communicative. We would highly recommend this house.

Beautifully appointed home

A group of seven of us celebrated a 50th birthday here. The house is beautifully appointed with lots of room for eating and playing board games. Beds are comfortable. We only wished for a bit more soft seating.

Family Thanksgiving in Saugerties

Every member of our 9 person party loved our stay in this house. Kitchen was substantial enough to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Backyard big enough to entertain kids. The living room large and comfy enough to entertain everyone. The bedrooms cozy enough for sleep-ins. The whole house was very clean, had everything we needed, and was thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend this property.

Fall girls trip

We had an excellent stay at the Modern Farmhouse for a Fall girls trip. We each had a room. Lot of areas to hang out. Kitchen was awesome and we just bought food and drinks. There were several seasonings too. The trip was geared by a local food festival and it was about 15 minutes away, as was the downtown Saugerties and Woodstock. We had a very nice waterfall hike about 30 minutes away. There were a handful of very excellent restaurants in town. Right around the house was rural except for a general store about 2 houses down but around a bit of a bend in the road. We initially did miss the house a few times due to the location right on the bend. The house was a bit older and creaky (not unexpected) but the shared areas were very nice. I was able to communicate with Roy before the trip to prepare and also during the trip with a heating issue. Overall the group was very happy with our accommodations.

Wonderful stay!

The house is near the Hudson river with beautiful views and walks. It has a rustic feel but is fully equipped, simple and clean. It is exceptionally well stocked. The large kitchen and dining room have all you need and desire for cooking and serving, all in an excellent condition. There is plenty of towels, blankets and sheets. It is well decorated and practical at the same time. Very comfortable, The place has a charming backyard. The only two suggestion would be: - ideally, it would be great to open upstairs windows. They are secured with AC units at the moment (for summer), - the grass could be a bit shorter and the yard slightly more taken care of. Otherwise, no other suggestion. Highly recommended.

The Gathering House is Perfect!!

My family completely enjoyed The Gathering House and it was perfect for our stay! The home was so spacious, comfortable, and inviting. My cousins kept telling me what a fantastic house this was for our stay. Tommy and Roy were always quick to respond and were incredibly accommodating! Perfect for Large Groups!

Our group of 9 had a fantastic time staying here. There was plenty of space for all of us, and the large kitchen/dining space was perfect for hosting many large meals. I would highly recommend staying here if you have a large group!

Great Spot for Girls Weekend

Our five friends had a wonderful weekend at The Gathering House! It was great that we all had our own bedrooms, and the beds and bedding were so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our dinners, and the drawers were organized to find it all. We loved the house decor and charm. Communication with the host was timely and easy. Friend getaway!

Ideal destination for family visit to the Catskills

We stayed at Roy and Tommy’s house for two months over the summer with our three young kids. We loved our stay and had a great experience with the owners, who are incredibly responsive and helpful. It was an ideal location for us, roughly 10 minutes from the villages of Saugerties and Woodstock, and about 15 minutes to the town of Hunter. The house is an ideal mix of new and old, with kitchens and bathrooms fully updated and very new. The owners have been very thoughtful about everything in the house. For example, bedrooms are appointed with plenty of outlets and nightlights and the decor is stylish yet also durable and can’t be broken by young kids. As others have mentioned, the house has plenty of room and was quite comfortable for our family of 5 (and the occasional visit from the grandparents!). It’s appointed with everything you need, including organic soap and shampoo, every possible tool you could need in the kitchen (all new and in great shape), and plenty of spices, coffee and tea. The backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed the brand new fire pit, which the owners had just installed. We regularly saw deer, rabbits, groundhogs, and numerous types of birds and butterflies. Despite our kids’ wishes, no bear sightings this trip! :)

Perfect escape year round

Pristine farmhouse that has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked full meals and had everything necessary for cooking and feeding 9 people. Plenty of space and separate seating areas for groups to split up. The owners are super pleasant and responsive to questions. Not one issue with our stay. Perfect as could be! We’ll definitely rent again!

A Great Escape!

Relaxing and seamless

This renovated farmhouse is actually better in person - the photos don't do it justice. It's been not only renovated with great detail, but also decorated perfectly. It felt clean and welcoming, and the owners were so easy to get in touch with. They thought of everything: even every light switch has a note identifying it's function, and you'd be surprised how much simpler that can make your life on a day-to-day basis! The yard is big, which was great for my 19 month old to run around in. The kitchen island was a perfect place to set up my son's clip on chair for his meals, internet worked great so we were able to work easily. I really can't say enough good things about my stay - I really recommend it.
