This was a great historic place to stay. It was a fun atmosphere and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was great, with wonderful places to eat and so much we wanted to do within walking distance. i would definitely stay here again.

This townhouse was in a very connected part of town - close to SO MUCH! Everything was clean, the water pressure was super and the hot water didn't disappoint!The stairs were challenging for us, but we got the hang of them quickly. Thank you so much for providing a convenient, cozy and clean place to stay.

A wonderful place to stay with a great location for stepping out and walking about the city. Indoor space is fun, welcoming. Bedrooms and bathrooms, very clean and comfortable. Excellent communication with host. A few treats left, made it easy to settle in, coffee and creamers a plus. Do object to non refundable damage insurance policy from an outside company or an exorbitant damage deposit, having personal history of twenty years plus renting VRBOs with no history of causing any damage to a property.

We loved staying in a home with so much history and character. The location was great for getting to all of the attractions we wanted to see. If you want to feel like you are not only seeing history, but you also want to immerse yourself in it. This is the place for you!

Historical happiness!

We really enjoyed our stay at this historical home on this cobblestone Street! House was full of character and the bedrooms were both so comfortable… Our host could not have been more hospitable & kind!

Location is fantastic

This property is in a great location for seeing the sites and enjoying the food and culture of Philadelphia. The neighbors are friendly, the host is super responsive and the accommodations are very comfortable. We had zero complaints!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this charming home. We had every amenity we needed and more. The suggestions for dining were appreciated and we enjoyed reading about the history of the home. We would love to stay here again!

Great location, walkable to most of center city sights. Also close to multiple public transit options, which makes it easy to get around. Parking, like most of downtown Philadelphia, can be a challenge. Unrestricted street options and a parking garage are a few blocks away, so not the best option if you want easy access to your car while staying, but this should be expected being in a downtown area. Overall a great stay and it's pet friendly!

History Trip

Dad and I travelled to Philadelphia to see the history. To be able to stay in such an amazing property that is historic in it’s own right was amazing. Very good shape, clean and comfortable. A great place.

Fun Spot!

Great place in the heart of the city. Loved the pedestrian street and the house itself had a lot of character. Very walkable neighbor. We parked in the acme parking garage (near Whole Foods).

Charming historical gem

Our family of four had a great stay in this charming historical home during our long weekend stay in Philly. The communication and check in was flawless. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint and close to everything you could need. We walked daily to all of the historical sites and museums. The beds were comfortable and all amenities provided. We recommend this home for your next stay in Philly!

Perfect in Philly

The house was perfect for a week long stay. AC works well, fully stocked with everything you need and very comfortable. Neighborhood has narrow roads and lots of cars so plan for parking difficulties.

Family with adult children

Brooks place was charming comfortable and fun! We had everything a family would need while traveling and then some. Our location was perfect for walking absolutely everywhere. The restaurants and bars in this neighborhood are all awesome and delicious. And Brook went above and beyond when our flight was delayed and he let us stay cozy and warm later than planned. It was a perfect trip!!!

The property was lovely

This is a piece of old Philadelphia and if you enjoy going back in history, this is the place for you. I really enjoyed it. The street does not allow cars and if you cannot walk well, you should use a hotel. It was close to some wonderful restaurants where the food was great.
