Desks were wonderful to relax on. Kiddos enjoyed playing board games out there. Very nicely decorated with a very relaxing vibe.

The house itself is very nice and relaxing. However, please beware, no where in the description or details of this rental does it state that this house is in a Church Camp & Community. You dont find until until you receive your reservation confirmation and it states it in the very last line. The outdoor church amphitheater is right next to the house with kids and people there all the time. Not allowed to smoke or drink alcohol. Being a daily marijuana smoker, this was very disappointing not knowing this information beforing booking.

45th Anniversary Vacation

We are a retired couple, and usually take a six week vacation. My best friend lives in Missouri, so we chose to stay close to her location. The Cliff View Haven was perfect! Plenty of room to spread out, well equipped kitchen, wonderful outdoor seating with a lovely view of the lake! We loved this home.

Weekend Get Away

We stayed here October 12-16, 2023. Very peaceful and relaxing. It rained while we were here, which was fine. It made for a very relaxing and peaceful weekend get-a-way!

We visited for a short getaway from Kansas City for my dad and my daughters birthdays. The home was wonderful and the perfect size for our group. The fishing was also awesome. It was a fantastic time

Feels like you're out over the water

We stayed from Sunday night thru Friday morning and we loved our stay. The place has a great beach vibe to it with the decor and setup inside. The multiple decks were pretty nice and one of them was screened in. There were some great games to play, but we added to it by leaving a new one for everyone, Clue. Internet speed was awesome, there was a hiccup as the line got accidently cut, but the owner did an amazing job of facilitating calls with the vendor to get it resolved as soon as possible! It's a solid 20-30 mins to Osage Beach, but the drive isn't bad and can be quite enjoyable. Watch for deer, especially on Highway Y as you get closer to the house. Dollar General is your best close "store" and we were able to find pretty much whatever we needed in a pinch there as it was quite stocked even with some fresh grocery/fruits/veg. When you're in the kitchen/dinning area looking out you feel like you're out floating over the water below. It's a pretty cool feeling and really helped add to the vibe there. The fishing at the dock was possible and I would advise against fishing the the right parallel to the shore as I lost a few lures that way myself. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook whatever we wanted at the time. Appears to have softened water which is a great positive in my mind due to the typically high mineral content of the water in the area. It helped to make sure you had a nice clean feeling after showers with no residue leftover. Overall we 100% enjoyed our stay, the owner was super responsive to any text/calls/emails and we would absolutely recommend this to everyone else.

The property was well stocked with amazing decks and views. Nice quiet community. Was able to really relax and enjoy the views.
