Walking distance from the beautiful township of Gloucester and 45 mins to surrounding National Parks and rivers. Grab a coffee from any of the 4 cafes and take a gentle stroll through picturesque Gloucester District Park along the babbling Gloucester River meandering at the foot of The Bucketts Mountains. Peruse through the Gloucester Art Gallery. and shops. Enjoy the many scenic bushwalks into ancient forests, kayaking on the Barrington River and country drives into the backcountry whilst visiting some of the local markets and wineries. After an adventurous, day grab a drink at the 2 pubs the town has on offer or sit back with a quiet drink sitting around the firepit while gazing at the stars on a clear night.

family visit

Our host was very friendly and helpful and also left us to our privacy. The room was very tastefully decorated and small touches such as magazines made it comfy. The TV service dropped out a couple of times. Thanks for your hospitality

A lovely cozy hideaway

The little cottage is very cozy, situated at the back of the main house with its own entrance and garden. It was really peaceful and we woke up to bird songs in the morning. So peaceful and tranquil

A wonderful few days

We booked Rose Cottage because we had tickets to Aussie Ark . The accommodation was really cozy and had everything we needed . Beatrice was a wonderful host . We will definitely stay again.

The property is surrounded by beautiful garden, creating a peaceful and tranquil environment. The B & B is beautifully maintained and is an absolute gem, we would stay again in a heartbeat. Our host Beatrice is delightful, very friendly and helpful and Max the dog made us feel very welcome too.

Just perfect

Beatrice has put together the most charming, warm and comfortable studio. We loved our couple of nights here. The garden is magic, and has a private area for guests with a fire pit, and place to sit in the sun. Lovely welcome from Beatrice, who was there if needed, but otherwise left us to enjoy our stay.

You are greeted by immaculately kept gardens, and follow along to a lovely cottage. It is very clean and has everything you’ll need. Very close to town, so plenty of food places around.

Wonderful studio in Gloucester

A small but super cosy and well appointed studio. Beatrice welcomed us on arrival (and our dog) and we settled in to a lovely comfortable night. Highly recommended, thank you Beatrice for your friendly dog friendly hospitality.

Quick break in Gloucester

Beatrice was a friendly host and fixed an issue with the portable air conditioner quickly. The studio is in a quiet location and a short 15-20 walk from town. The driveway is pretty narrow if you want to park off road, so best for small cars only. I think it could get quite warm inside if booking a summer stay. There isn't much dog friendly accommodation in Gloucester, so this was a good find.

Quiet and comfortable

Beatrice’s property is in a lovely quiet location. Her garden is glorious and we were able to enjoy its beauty. The check-in process was easy as Beatrice welcomed us on arrival. The room was cozy and well equipped. A perfect location to stay if you are enjoying the Barrington Tops area.

Comfortable studio room for a short stay

The studio room was small, although adequate. The bed was comfortable, crockery and cutlery were supplied, as well as some breakfast items. There was a microwave, toaster and kettle. The cottage was a short driving distance into town and both hotels in town had good meals. There were also several good cafes as well as an IGA and Woolworths. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and Gloucester is a lovely town. The only thing wrong was the internet wasn’t working throughout our stay
