Nestled in a peaceful bush setting in Lakes Entrance lies this tranquil log cabin getaway. Come and enjoy the covered rear deck area amongst the trees and the local birds and wildlife. Enjoy the open fire pit (BYO wood) or grab a glass of wine and cheese platter and enjoy the peaceful bush setting. Only a 3-minute drive to the town of Lakes Entrance, the Lakes, and Ninety Mile Beach.

The property is a quaint, 2 bedroom log cabin, a single living area and kitchen, outdoor deck with BBQ perfect for a couple or a small family, with undercover parking for a car and trailer.

The cabin was well equipped with everything that was needed The bed was comfortable the only problem was the smell of mildew in the bathroom Just need a exhaust fan Some lights didn’t work And cobwebs removed The Bbq wasn’t clean Nice enough place to stay just needs a little TLC

Living mid the Gumtrees

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Set amongst the gumtrees were cabins well separated. It was relaxing and quiet interrupted only by the sound of birds. The loudest was the smallest - an Australian Golden Whistler. Daily visits by King Parrots and Crimson Rosellas and more. Good cooking facilities including a small Weber outside on the decking. Good basic pantry supplies, comfortable beds and clean linen.. It comes highly recommended for anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday and only about 5 minutes by car to centre of town. Two nights were too short a time.

Great little place and everything was ok, however, at the price point i payed i was expecting a lot more, not an old cabin in a cabin park where the nightly rate was a hundred less than what i paid. I was expecting to share the grounds with one other cabin as the advert implied not a dozen or so others. At the minimum supply some firewood and a gift pack at this price point.

Humble cabin in a peaceful spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was surprised to find Songbird was located within a log cabin complex but happy that it was far enough away from the main action to feel a little more secluded. While tiny, it had all we needed for our week's stay and we really enjoyed our time there. The airconditioning in the lounge area was especially appreciated on the couple of hot days we had, and we're also VERY grateful for being able to take our dog. Aside from the beautiful bush setting, my favourite thing was its just a short drive into Lakes Entrance (but far enough away to leave the madding crowd behind).
