We had an amazing stay here, apartment was nice and clean with a designated parking spot. Close to all shops and beach.

Melbourne get away

A very disappointing stay! Pictures on the Stayz website look nothing like the actual place. The place is run down and not clean with cob webs and dust every where. Whilst it is advertised as a 5 people stay, it didnt have appropriate bedding for the 5th visitor. We found a very cheap and old mattress as a futon under ond of the beds , it was really uncomfortable as you could feel the springs and it didnt even have a mattress cover. There wasnt enough cutlery for 5 people. The door in the main bedroom self locked so you couldnt open from inside and had to be lucky to have a family member around to open it for you from the outside! The hot water kept running out. The only good thing about the place is that its a 5 min walk from a lovely cafe and the beach.

Don’t judge a book by its cover

I will admit I was concerned pulling into the drive of this unit block. I was pleasantly surprised when opening the door. The unit is light and airy. The doors to the balcony open up all the way allowing for the beautiful breeze to flow through the unit. The balcony even has a teeny tiny bit of ocean view. The host has set the balcony up with a baby Webber for outdoor cooking with a view over looking the pool. There is a full kitchen inside of course with most of what you need. The lounge is cozie with a comfortable lounge and a single arm chair. While there is a TV it has an indoor aerial which is not ideal but does work. The main bedroom has a queen size bed with a super comfortable mattress. However I did get locked in lol. I have made the host aware the door handle does not work from the inside. It’s lucky my son was visiting, it did give us a good laugh though. Overall I loved staying in this unit. It was a 5 min walk to Bayside shopping center, a short walk to the beach, short trip up the road to restaurants and bars. It is well presented, clean and comfortable. The other tenants in the unit block are fairly quiet and keep to themselves. I truly hope it is available next time I come to the area.

Overall worth our time for a holiday staying for a week. Minor concerns of safety regarding the shower area which can be addressed getting in and out without tripping over. Thank you for our holiday location

Great flat, great location, but..

Appliances could be cleaner, ended up using my own air fryer, utensils etc. Parking difficult if you have a larger vehicle...neighbours not helpful. Otherwise, all well except TV's on indoor aerials means only half channels, and the hot water system runs out very quickly.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the property. It was exactly as pictured on the site and communication with the owners was excellent and they were very patient with all the questions that I asked. Location really good.
