Cosy three bedroom cottage on the stunning Three Mile Lake.
Birds View cottage sits amongst the trees, providing spectacular views out across the lake, and to the waters edge below. Have a coffee on the deck as the sun rises, and take in the fresh forest air, before making your way down to the dock to enjoy a day by the water. The water off the dock is deep enough to dive right off, or use the ladder if preferred.
Swimming in the lake is highly recommended, just please stay within 30 meters from shore, for safety. A paddle in the kayak is also a wonderful way to spend an hour or two on this crystal still lake. In the evening, retire up to the deck for an evening drink, or gather around the large dining table for a night of cards, games and chat.
Take a day to enjoy nearby Port Carling (25mins), or Rosseau (15mins), or if the weathers cooler, one of the many nearby walking trails.
There is a Foodland in Port Carling, but also a convenience store 8 mins drive away which has many essentials, and is also an LCBO outlet.
Three Mile Lake is a quiet lake, and while there is some motor traffic in high season, it is light craft only and you won't experience the noise and traffic of nearby lakes.

The cottage will best suit 1-2 couples, a small family or small groups of friends. The owner also uses the cottage throughout the season, and is part of a close knit neighbourhood on the road. Three Mile Lake is very friendly and welcoming, but is not a party location, and noise should be restricted after 11pm.

Notes: The steps down to the waterfront are relatively steep, and unfortunately would not be suitable for persons with mobility difficulties.
Water is deep off the end of the dock. One side has a shallow area on rock, and the other is deep from shore. May not be suitable for small children without supervision/ life jackets.

Bedrooms: 1 and 2: Queen Beds, 3: Bunk bed with double on bottom, single on top. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room.

No Wifi (cell service is good, and the owner works regularly from the cottage using cell hotspot, but cannot guarantee your device/ provider will have similar connection)
