Welcome to 295 Ostego Drive, a four-bedroom, two-bath waterfront private stilt home that has recently been totally renovated and redecorated. This wonderful home is right on the back bay with its 180-degree view that includes the Sky Bridge, the fleet of shrimp boats, many pleasure craft moored in the bay, and lush tropical landscaping, all this in a very desirable neighborhood at the northern end of the island. The main living area is on the second level while the lower level has plenty of covered parking and covered areas surrounded by lush tropical greenery. This amazing vacation destination is about a 5-minute walk to Estero Boulevard and 7 miles of white sugar sand beach. Along the way are the US Post Office, Hooters, and a wide choice of other restaurants and nightlife within walking or biking distance. Many water activities are available, such as parasailing, jet ski rentals, and fishing charters. Amenities include complimentary WiFi, remote-controlled ceiling fans, central air conditioning, a private laundry room, and all towels and linens are provided.
On arrival, there is ample off-street parking and some covered parking beneath the home. Entry is via stairs to a covered entry deck and then into the open-plan living, kitchen, and dining areas with vaulted ceilings. There is beautiful wood flooring throughout. The large kitchen has plenty of quartz counter space with tile backsplash and cabinets stocked with all the necessary items to prepare full-course meals or just snacks and coffee. Appliances are all stainless steel and include a glass top range with a self-cleaning oven, built-in above-range microwave oven, dishwasher, and side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with ice and water dispenser in the freezer door. The large island has a farmhouse-style stainless steel sink with cabinets and drawers on the kitchen side and five adjustable-height padded bar seats on the dining and living area side. The kitchen is complete with a pantry and even a Keurig coffee maker. The adjacent dining area has a table seating six on an area rug. This flows into the living area which has an L-shaped over-stuffed sofa on an area rug with accent tables and lamps. Opposite the seating area is the credenza above which is a wall-mounted large flat-screen TV. Both the living area and dining areas share expansive sliding glass doors providing access out to the screen-enclosed and covered rear deck. There are also French doors leading from one side of the dining area out to the deck, which is nicely furnished with upscale patio furnishings and area rugs.
The master bedroom with en suite bath has a king-size bed with accent tables and lamps and a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV. French doors provide access from the master bedroom out to the screen-enclosed and covered deck that overlooks the back bay. Through a pocket door is a large walk-in closet and en suite bath, which has a granite vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath, and a separate room with commode and corner nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass walls and glass door. A door from here provides access out to an open deck overlooking the front of the home. The first guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, accent tables and lamps, an area rug, and a wall-mounted large flat-screen TV. The second guest bedroom has a queen-size bed on an area rug with an accent table and lamp, ample closet space, and a wall-mounted large flat-screen TV. The third guest bedroom has a queen-size bed on an area rug with accent tables and lamps, a full-length mirror, and ample closet space. The adjacent guest bathroom has a granite vanity with a lavatory and storage space beneath, a commode, and a nicely tiled walk-in shower with a glass wall and glass door. The laundry room with a laundry sink and full-size washer and dryer is next to the guest bathroom.
