Our 4 season cottage includes all of your getaway essentials: access to your own dock and small beach, crystal clear water for swimming and fishing, ping pong table, media room and much much more!

We are steps away from the Outaouais best hiking trails (Albatros & Lièvre) as well as the ATV/Skidoo trails.

The cottage is 1 hour from Ottawa and just under 2 hours from Montreal.

We also provide water toys/floaties for our guests as well as 1 canoe and paddles, 3 kayaks and paddles. (1 small, 1 medium and 1 large SIT ON kayak) Forgot your life jackets? Just ask and we can provide some as well!

Our kitchen is stocked with essential appliances and we provide sheets, bedding and even pillows. We have a slew of indoor and outdoor games that are sure to keep you busy, even on rainy days!

Our quaint cottage also includes:

-Highspeed internet/wifi
-workspace (chair, desk and monitor) in case you need to plug in while away
-space for your pets (cage, food/water bowls)
-2 spacious bedrooms, 3 beds (queen and 2 singles)
-a finished basement to relax and watch movies
-game space
-washer and dryer
-air conditioning (central air) for those hot days and heat for those cold winter days
- access to a large backyard including a horse shoe pit and a fire pit
-2 decks and 2 patio sets, front and back, to eat on and relax

The river and surrounding lakes offer the best fishing (pike, pickerel, carp) and we have fishing rods available l

We have a firepit, 2 picnic tables and plenty of space in the backyard to play games (supplied!) Including a horseshoe pit!

We supply the wood for your fires and propane for the BBQ.

Our boat dock is your dock - you can bring your boat and keep it there during your stay. The public boat launch is an 8 minute drive away.

Outdoor eating and gathering space - fully screened gazebo

1 smart tv and 1 not-so-smart tv (this one has a PS3 and some games if you're feeling nostalgic!)

LOTS of DVD's, including movies for the younger crowd, comedies and a good sprinkle of horror films

Air hockey and a foosball tables, boardgames, card games and many more!

We can install a babygate and provide a highchair and playpen upon request

Enjoyed our getaway

Staying here felt like staying at a family friend's cottage - the kitchen is well stocked, bathroom has plenty of towels and anything we could need, lots of options for fun and games on water or land (or indoors if it's rainy!). I really appreciated the cleanliness and ability to make ourselves at home. Thank you for a great stay

Great little getaway

My fiancee and I took a mid-week break to head up on a Tuesday through Friday. The cottage was clean and as advertised. My sister and nephew joined us for a day, and there were plenty of outdoor games to keep a 9 year old busy. They undersold the private beach in theisting. It's quaint and just what we needed. Small, but clean, sandy and inviting. In nearby Val-des-Bois, there are plenty of amenities including a large modern playground and family-friendly nature trail. Overall, a great experience. I hesitate to give a 5-star review, because I don't want next year book up too fast.

Great property, Dishonest listing, obnoxious owners.

Did not honor the ad description. The property clearly says, events can be hosted with max :10 people for family gatherng Sleeps : 4. We were 3 people.l & my parents (1 senior citizen) My friend arrived they texted me to ask him to leave. (Listing says there is 1 security camera but actully ther are 3 cameras.) He embarassingly left. Next day a friend came to help me with my broken car 2hrs before checkout I got a text saying, he has to leave immediately, the owner came himself to kick me out. Told them about the advertising, about hosting 10 people. Lied to my face, and stayed watching me till I left. Embarrassingly i left. Says parking for 3 cars,, but as soon as people or car arrive they ask me to ask them to leave. Warning ! Dont book through Verbo, customer care did not honour the ad description either. Great property, unhonest ad description about hosting people. Paranoid Owners, the neighourhood doesnt't appreciate short term rental. But they still do it by monitoring guest, activities with 3 cameras. Owners want to keep it discreet with less guests and cars but false advertising to get business. And asking guests to leave, against what the listing promises to do.

Paradise on earth

Thank you very much Andria. I had a very nice stay. I can tell you paid great attention to detail. The cottage is very nicely decorated. Loved to prepare meals in the kitchen. You've got everything anyone could possibly need to get a meal on. The only thing that l thought would be nice to have were some camping chairs to bring down to the dock or the private beach. Otherwise everything was perfect!!! Thank you for hosting Chico and I!

Well appointed and nice location.

The cottage was easy to find and complete with good cooking tools, games and amenities. The water was clean and accesible either down a staircase to a dock or short sandy road to the water.

For folks wanting to experience the outdoors, we are surrounding by unique hiking trails, parks, farmers markets and chipstand with the yummiest food!

There is a larger beach just steps to the left of our beach, if you want to check that out too!

You can use our dock if you have a boat you would like to bring! The boat launch is conveniently located 9 minutes away and is FREE!
