Perfect Getaway

Beautiful property and views. House was in excellent condition and was a great place to relax for a few days. I look forward to coming back in the summer.

Issues with appliances and mice.

We arrived at the property. It had a bit musty smell. The next day the refrigerator broke. They brought 2 cookers with ice. We discovered mice in the liwer level bedroom bathroom area. I was told I'd receive a $100.00 refund for the inconvenience but its been over a week and no response or refund... Disappointed. We were staying there for my Sons wedding in Leroy. 😫

Family Vacation

Super fun vacation with my in-laws and family. Beautiful view of the lake, well stocked kitchen, clean space and great for hanging out. They should add a curtain to the king sized bedroom and probably have the rugs cleaned but otherwise very comfortable and tidy. We loved using the kayaks.

Great, clean, relaxing Up North retreat w/ Family

What you see is what you get! Great place to make memories! There were many little details — like extra TP, paper towels, spices, baby gates, and other random household items — that made us feel at home and at ease, which is exactly what you want when you’re living lakeside. For those reading reviews, just know that there are occasional bugs, as to be expected when being by water/trees. I appreciated that the owner had bug spray in the cabinet, but we never had any issues!Only suggestion is to add a larger sectional couch or another chair for additional seating in the living room :)

Breath- Taking View

Well stocked and cozy/rustic home. Master affords view of lake to enjoy beautiful sunrises as does the living room. Multi-tiered deck and a private beach for all to enjoy. Close to Traverse City, Petosky, Charlevoix, Grand Rapids, etc. We had a wonderful time enjoying nature and the changing leaves.

Water heaven

The cottage provided all the conveniences for eating, sleeping and hanging inside on rainy days. The dock and beach area was great for fishing, kayaking, rafting, boating, and swimming.

Our stay at Rose Lake

Our family enjoyed a wonderful relaxing weekend at this cottage on Rose Lake. Very clean and convenient. Our teens enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking while the adults relaxed!

This place has everything

We came up for the fall colors and got everything we could have possibly imagined. The home is wonderful with lots of room and views to make you swoon. The house sits on a high bluff overlooking the lake to the east. We saw great sunrises and, as it turned out, great full moon rises over the lake. Although we did not use the kayaks because it was cool weather, the lake front was easily accessible and inviting. The kitchen, baths, and bedrooms were well appointed, and the living room was comfy. The location was an easy drive to Cadillac and the Manistee River valley as well. We will be back.

Perfect family getaway

Such a beautiful lake! The house and property was well kept and had everything we needed. We loved kayaking and paddle boarding. Sunrises were spectacular!
