Family weekend

Great family weekend at the cabin. Cabin was as described. Grandsons loved playing pool, we cooked outside and used the fire pit great place to be together

Beautiful Property and a Perfect Getaway

We recently had a wonderful stay at this cabin near Galena. Set in a peaceful and secluded area, it was the perfect spot for a relaxing retreat. The natural surroundings provided a calm setting that really allowed us to unwind, while providing very easy access to beautiful downtown Galena, which is a must-visit for anyone that has yet to spend time there.The cabin itself was very clean and tastefully decorated, with all the comforts of home readily available. It struck a nice balance between modern amenities and rustic charm, making our stay both convenient and cozy.The owner was very attentive and easy to communicate with. They made sure we had all the details we needed and checked in with us to ensure our satisfaction, which added a personal touch to our experience.Overall, this cabin is a great find for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay with the option to explore nearby attractions. We're looking forward to returning in the future.

Cabin in the woods!

Very pleased with our stay at this cabin. Perfect for our family of 4 (tween/teen kids) short getaway. The cabin was well maintained and outfitted with all we needed. Pool table in the basement was a fun add. We skied for a day in chestnut and spent a few hours strolling downtown Galena for the shops and restaurants. Owner was very friendly and quick to respond to questions via text. Great value and would come back again!

Great Holliday week

Beautiful log home!

Seriously, the pictures of this place do not do it justice. We took a chance on it, and were so pleasantly surprised!! What a beautiful place. Well kept, clean, and stocked. The owners were also better at being in touch than anyone we've ever rented from. If we could give this 6 or 7 stars, we would.

Great getaway!

We stayed at this house with 2 other couples during Columbus day weekend and everything was perfect. Its located in the Galena Territory and very close to downtow. The house was very clean, plenty of space for 6 adults, amd it had everything you need. Dan, the host was very helpful and easy to reach. We will stay here again!

Pack Get Away

It was a perfect stay for the 3 of us ( hubby, pup, and myself) to get away from the Corporate Life. Eagle Ridge is such an amazing community to stay, and so close to downtown Galena. The owner Dan is so easy to deal with and he responds to your texts/calls immediately. Great guy!

Serenity cabin

The cabin was nice. The location was good and the owner responded quickly to messages. However, there were a few things that could have been better. The coffee maker took hours to make a single cup of coffee. The drain in the main floor shower took about 10 minutes to drain and you could only watch DVDs on a few of the TVs. The downstairs bathroom and bedroom were not as clean as they could have been. Cobwebs on the lights and some kind of animal droppings in the bathroom. Im assuming a previous guest had a dog and it didn't get cleaned up.

Country Relaxing

This place is great for outdoors relaxation for the family. Convenient location to everything in Galena Territory. As it is outdoorsy, keep in mind that there are the usual array of bugs that get in, such as moths in the loft bedroom and ants/spiders throughout. Wi-Fi is very spotty and the DirecTV rarely got a signal. 2 out of 3 DVD players did not work either. However, if you’re not squeamish about bugs and don’t mind the quiet, this is a great place to relax. Lots of birds and others critters around to take in.

Wonderful Property

We enjoyed our time in the Galena Territory and at Serenity Cabin! Our teens really enjoyed the pool table. Great location, close to many activities. Property owner was great with communication and checking on us during our stay. We’ll definitely be back!
