Our stay began relatively well, the home was clean and well-stocked with essentials, and the fenced yard was a plus. However, there were some concerns we wanted to share for awareness. The heavy use of air fresheners and fragrance was overwhelming at first, and once it faded, there was a noticeable mildew smell. Some of the windows were also difficult to open, and the number of breakable items made it challenging to relax with young children present.The main issue occurred when you attempted to schedule routine maintenance during our stay, shortly after we had arrived from a 14-hour drive. We appreciated that this was eventually postponed after we explained the situation, but it did cause unnecessary stress.Additionally, near the end of our stay, we received a message thanking us for paying the pet deposit for our daughterâs service dogs. When we clarified that we hadnât seen a deposit option during booking and asked how to pay through the official platform, we were instructed to use a third-party payment service. This raised security concerns, especially when further messages mentioned photos of us and that you lived across the street. This exchange felt inappropriate and uncomfortable, and communication stopped once we reiterated that we preferred to handle payment directly through the booking site.We wanted to share this feedback to help ensure smoother communication and clearer processes for future guests.
