Escape to our charming 2BD/1BA oasis in the heart of Columbia Heights—a historic facade reveals a modern gem. Just blocks from the metro, this fully-renovated home pairs a spa-like bathroom & a chef's kitchen with the allure of nearby restaurants & bars. Guests have a private, separate entrance to the apartment. The door lock is activated by a code, so no need to carry a key or juggle keys between different guests. And the system allows for 24 hour check-in.

The home is located in the heart of the Columbia Heights neighborhood and 3 short blocks from the metro and shopping. It's just half a block to the 11th Street strip, which includes a cluster of independent restaurants offering great nightlife, including two great wine bars, a gourmet diner, a fabulous authentic pizza restaurant and other restaurants/bars.

From Reagan Airport, take the Yellow Line train toward DC/Convention Center and exit at the Columbia Heights station. (~25 min)

From Dulles, I recommend mapping your route to Columbia Heights Metro via www.wmata.org. You can take bus 7A to L’Enfant station and then take the metro to Columbia Heights. (~1 hour, 30 min)

From BWI, I also recommend mapping your route to Columbia Heights Metro via www.wmata.org. You can take bus B30 to Greenbelt station and then take the metro to Columbia Heights station. (~1 hour, 30 min)

Or you can get a cab or UberX from the airport for $60-90 from Dulles or BWI (~45 min) or $25 from Reagan (~20)

From Columbia Heights metro (14th and Irving Streets), walk one block East down Irving Street (in the same direction as traffic) toward 13th street, then turn left on 13th Street.

Walk north 1.5 blocks, cross 13th street and walk East on Lamont Street. The house is 3/4 block down Lamont on your right. Apartment B is on the lower level, so walk down the stairs and you'll be at the front door of the apartment.

Great place to stay

This was a great place to stay for my short trip in D.C. Clean, comfortable, and close to great food options. Neighborhood was safe and easy to walk, but it was also a short Uber or metro ride to most things that would bring you to D.C. for vacation.

Great Stay in DC

My family of four visited from Iowa during spring break. We chose this location because of its price, amenities, and location to the Metro. It did not disappoint! It's a 10-minute walk to the Columbia Heights Metro (green/yellow lines). The neighborhood is vibrant and busy; there were lots of people out walking their dogs and running. There were three grocery stores nearby, and with the kitchen it was easy to make dinner. However, there were also lots of restaurants nearby if we wanted to eat out. Overall, a great experience. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

Great location for business trip

We stayed at this Vrbo rather than paying for a pricey hotel room while in DC for a three-day conference. It’s a great central location and we were far more comfortable with so much extra space than what we would have had in a dinky hotel room!

Great stay

Had a great stay. The property was in a great location (10 minute walk to metro station) and had a lot of local restaurants a black away. We took the metro each day to the National Mall and this served as a great home away from home. Property was as described and could tell was thoroughly cleanwd before our arrival.
