Cozy Guesthouse Close to Ski Hill, Nelson, and Ainsworth!

Kick back and relax in this newly renovated guesthouse. Have the entire home to yourself complete with kitchen, full bath and living area. The kitchen includes an air fryer oven, induction stovetop, Keurig coffee maker and fridge. The bathroom features a brand new rock and tile rain shower.
Only a 5 min walk to 6 mile beach, 12 km to downtown Nelson, 33 km to Whitewater Ski Resort and 36 km to Ainsworth Hot Springs.

This is a studio with kitchen, bed, bathroom and living area. The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, air fryer oven, fridge, Keurig coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, knives, cutlery, dishes, corkscrew, and glasses.
The living area has a Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. There is a desk/workspace available.

Comfortable and Clean

Enjoyed the 2 night stay. The description mentions a 1 bedroom but it is a suite. The beds are comfortable, the little kitchen is well stocked and everything is super clean and fresh. A short drive to Nelson.

Very clean and cozy. Too small for us, especially bathroom (shower stall and toilet). Ok for just spending the night, comfortable bed.

All we needed

A comfortable, cosy space. Has everything you need. Best for two people, as four would be cramped. A perfect place if all you need is a clean, comfortable spot at the end of a day of activities. Very short drive (about 10 minutes) to get to downtown Nelson. Have zero complaints.

Private and comfortable

Cozy suite with everything we needed. Simple, charming decor. Nice little patio. Took a nice walk down to the beach for a swim in Kootenay Lake. 10 min drive from town on the beautiful winding road of the north shore to get to the cabin just adds to the experience.

Ski trip

This was the perfect place for us to relax, cook some dinner,drink a glass of wine, and crash out after skiing whitewater and soaking in the ainsworth hot springs. We really enjoyed this cozy, quiet place with a nicely furnished kitchen area comfortable bed and a hot shower.

Cozy with electric fireplace

I stayed for a quiet weekend away. It is on the main road but didn't notice traffic. Easy walk to a lovely beach. Don't plan on cooking much as kitchen is very small, usable but just for simple meals. Bed was comfy. Enjoyed the electric fireplace.

Great Small Space

I was thoroughly impressed with the room. It's detached and you have lots of privacy. Yes, you can hear the highway, but it's not loud enough to disturb your sleep. The owner thought of a lot of small things and I really appreciated the attention to detail. The electric fireplace and hot water on demand are great features. There was even a little lantern if you needed to navigate the property at night.

Stayed here over night when traveling up to Ainsworth hot springs! Stayed the one night as it was getting late. Nice little guest house. Shower is a bit low, but I'm 5'3 so didn't bother me! Lol

Cute and cozy

Exactly as shown online. Prefect for our visit. Great to be able to cook our own meals, bed was super comfortable, bedding was awesome, shower was great. The only suggestion we have is to provide a garment rack to hang clothes and have a place for suitcase/bags. Much better than a hotel room.

CREATIVE AND UNIQUE

Overall, the experience was pleasant and met our needs. I found the location accessible and easy. The place was clean. The only criticism I have is that the mattress and futon were not very comfortable. We found them too hard and uncomfortable and actually caused some aches. The shower also overflowed onto the floor very easily. All in all, I was not disappointed. Thank you for the opportunity.

Convenient Location

Fairly dirty and dusty upon arrival and the bathroom window is missing a privacy curtain. We had to sweep the floor before we could unpack. A key thing to note for taller guests, if you're taller than 5' 7", you will not fit in the shower. Once you book the property, the listing states there is a deadbolt on the door as a provided safety feature, but there isn't. So you'll have to rig your own security. Other than those items, we really did enjoy our stay there and appreciated the close proximity to both Ainsworth and Nelson. Would book again!
