Restful and comfortable

We had a bit of trouble finding it , clean and cozy there was everything you need and a barbecue on the large deck where you could relax by the water and take in the nature.Susan and Wilson were very nice great little place to stay

Great time.

We enjoyed our stay. If you love antiques this is the place for you. Found the bed a little small as it was just a double. The hosts were friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable.

Cozy Stay beautiful deck

Very eclectic space with lots of nostalgic items to look at. Nice view of the lake Host were very hospitable making us and our dog feel very welcomed.

Rustic nook on a brook/pond

It is a rustic cottage. Everything we needed was on site and the owner very friendly and helpful gave us advice on where to eat. There a nice covered deck and we enjoyed watching the birds eat at the feeder. Also, it's very convenient to the beautiful Highlands of Cape Breton.

Beautiful little spot!

This was such a lovely stay, Winston was such a wonderful host. The home is very quaint, clean and has all the basic amenities. There is a nice little river to kayak. Our family had a wonderful time and would come back again!

Sweet, Charming Spot in Gorgeous Location

Lovely hosts on a lovely property. Cozy and comfortable for two, and if you share a bed it's also easy and convenient (there's a pull-out couch). Hope to return in finer weather, and for a bit longer, to enjoy the deck sometime!

Sept 2023 2-night stay

Small cabin with everything you need. Owner took time to run through the cabin/amenities and was friendly. Beautiful view of the Brook which was fun to watch the ducks, beavers and geese! Pleased with our stay!

Relaxing getaway

Charming, eclectic cottage - everywhere I looked there were interesting antique touches. Sitting on the deck watching the birds, listening to the frogs, watching the beavers swim across the water was so relaxing.

We spent the weekend watching soccer at CBU and enjoyed this lovely cottage with our dogs. It is cozy as described and rustic. Everything we expected as advertised!

Really cute place. Winston and Susan were great. Gave us ideas on what to do and where to go. Met some of their friends that were also very nice. John boiled us some lobster which was perfect. Things to do all over neighbor hood. Would go again. Thanks for everything Winston!

The address is 40 Marconi Towers Road. Guglielmo Marconi invented the wireless radio on this street. His residence still stands and is inhabited by one of Marconi's employees grandsons, a wonderful curator in his own right so yes it's a wonderful stay.
