Poseidons Hideaway - Great Location, Poorly Maintained Property
Property is poorly maintained, and simply not worth the premium tariff/rate paid.Mould and dirt on vertical blinds in multiple rooms, including kitchen and bedrooms. Window sills not cleaned in long time.A simple damp rid container, full of water, in the lounge could not cope with the damp mouldy smell.Kitchen tap/ mixer extremely loose.Litchen tidy bin lid never wiped.Yellow paper roll handle falling off wall.Towel rack in bathroom very loose, care required not to pull off wall.No wifi connectiity, OK as advetised but free to air TV limited, as TV antenna cable plug is wrong type with cable jammed into wall socket so free-to air connection, poor for most channels.No regular maintenance being maintained with the property. Also questionable cleaning on departue and prior to occupation.Overall property is a health hazard due to the mould and damp in most rooms, so a warning to any one with asthma and respiratory issues.We departed a full day earlier than scheduled as mould and damp smell was impacting on elederly 83-year old monther-in-law health.When emailed shorly after arrival on first day to advise of tap issue, with subsequent SMS sent 2 days later to advise of TV issues, a we-will-look-at issue response received from property managers few days later, just before we departed. A real shame as location is great! Unprofessional and irresponsible property manager.Avoid Experience Jervis Bay, so please avoid them & this Poseidons property at all costs.
