Villa Hermosa är en imponerande tre våningar villa med imponerande utsikt över den katalanska landskapet och havet. Beläget i ett lugnt skogsområde i utkanten av den historiska byn Begur och 5 minuters bilresa från den underbara stranden vid Aiguablava. Villan är helt luftkonditionerad. Privat 6x4 m pool, privata trädgårdar har lekplats med gungor.
Villan består av fem väl tilltagna sovrum med inbyggda garderober och tre badrum. Havsutsikt från flera sovrum. Utmärkta restauranger terrasser med utsikt över havet.
Begur är en charmig by full av restauranger och butiker och en utmärkt bas för att utforska Costa Brava. På sommaren finns det många festivaler och utomhus marknader hålls runt den medeltida kyrkan torget. Den närmaste stranden vid Aiguablava är välförtjänt populär bland familjer med mjuk sand och kristallklart vatten. Tre strandnära restauranger erbjuder utmärkta möjligheter för sköna luncher.

Golfbanor: Det finns många utmärkta golfbanor i närheten, inklusive Catalunya PGA. Greenfee är mycket rimliga och standarden på kurserna i jämförelse med allt annat i Europa. Be om en broschyr om Golf i Costa Brava.

Yacht Charter: Vi har vänner som kör en seglarskola i närliggande Port d'Aro och en skeppare charter kan ordnas för en dag eller några dagar för upp till 8 personer.

Fine Dining: Tre av världens bästa 50 restauranger är katalanska och inom en 35 minuters bilfärd. Några av de mest spännande viner som produceras i Europa kommer från denna region. Varför inte be oss att arrangera ett besök på en vingård eller en världsklass restaurang.

Wonderful Stay - Thank you

We had a wonderful stay in Villa Hermosa. We couldn’t have asked for more from the excellent and efficient communication with Derek the proprietor to Bob the property manager. The villa itself is far nicer than the images show and we were more than pleasantly surprised. We were a party of 3 adults and had two groups of friends join us during our 3 week vacation. The villa was so so spacious both inside and out. It was really well equipped and has excellent Wi-Fi which my husband used as he was working for the first 2 weeks. The location is excellent but I think you would need a car to properly enjoy the area. The nearest town Begur is on a few minutes drive but you could walk ( 30 mins approx) The villa is only a short drive to all the beautiful costal towns and is only a few minutes walk to an excellent supermarket. The pool area is also fantastic and there is even a fridge outside to store your drinks whilst lounging at the pool. The villa is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood surrounded by beautiful pine trees. We would definitely return to villa Hermosa without hesitation. Thank you for a lovely stay Susanne

A wonderful family holiday.

The villa is spacious with large living room and kitchen all open plan leading to a wraparound balcony with lovely views. There are a number of steps up to the main entrance but the lift from the garage that takes suitcases and heavy shopping was such a good idea. The annexe on the floor below can also be reached by a spiral staircase from the balcony so it was easy to go up from the pool to the main villa. The annexe has a double room, single bunk bed room and shower room. The pool was great with small steps on the side. Lots of loungers and plenty of room for sunbathing. The supermarket is a short walk or drive away and sold everything we needed. The only inconvenience was the rubbish disposal, but it was fine. We had to ring Kerry though to find out what to do. We were welcomed and shown around the villa but a welcome pack with information on rubbish collection and map of car parks in Begur and markets would be a good idea. I know you send lots of information but it would be nice to have something written as well. We all loved our stay in Villa Hermosa. It was perfect for our age ranges from 3 to 71.

Maison agréable, jolie vue, bien équipée mis a part la salle de bain du niveau piscine dans laquelle il manquerait une étagère pour poser les affaires. Supermarché à 3mn en voiture, begur centre à 5mn, mer à 10mn. Petit Bemol: beaucoup d escaliers à monter.On le savait , mais fatigant quand même. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et c est une très jolie région.

Résidence dans un endroit calme. 3 niveaux, du garage aux étages, donc beaucoup de marches, non sportifs s'abstenir ! (la maison est équipée d'un monte charge, ça compense un peu...) Zone résidentielle assez calme, mais un peu loin des plages ou du centre du village, voiture indispensable. La maison est bien mais aurait besoin de quelques réparations, en particulier au niveau des salles de bain (fuite bac à douche pour l'une et accessoires un peu vieillots), mais le reste des équipements est très correct. Piscine OK, Le contact avec le propriétaire, Bob, est super sympa et il est cool et il est là en cas de problème. Globalement, un endroit sympa pour passer du temps entre copains. Attention quand même, une des 5 chambres n'est pas adaptée pour un couple (lits superposés)

en primer lugar no me ha parecido bien que, aunque hable por teléfono con el agente de la inmobiliaria, no se personara en ningún momento a recibirnos ni posteriormente. En segundo lugar el mantenimiento de la vivienda no me parece correcto. Creo que la casa está algo desprotegida podría entrar cualquiera, la llave de la puerta de la zona de abajo no cierra por dentro debe de estar estropeada. La zona muy buena. Begur es un pueblo muy bonito. Gracias.

Me ha gustado como estaba por dentro, pero los espacios de fuera no me han gustado tanto como otros chalets a los que he ido. Difícil comunicarse con la que llevaba el alwuiler exclusivamente en inglés.

Beautiful begur and surrounding areas. Hit by beauty round every corner. Lovely villa although rather a lot of steps. Not for the infirmed but we as a family of 10 of assorted ages had an amazing time. Thank you villa Hermosa.

A bit of Costa Brava Magic

Villa Hermosa is in a great location, close to beaches, to the restaurants of Begur and to a really good supermarket. The villa is well equipped, although the outdoor furniture is a bit tired. The downside is the slog up all the steps from the road to the main floor, especially when you are lugging suitcases and shopping.

Heerlijk huis waar wij met ons gezin 9 personen 1 week verbleven.

Een fijn huis op een mooie plek. Heerlijk die airco waardoor het gehele huis koel was. De supermarkt is vlakbij naast de camping en vanaf 8 uur kan je vers warm brood halen. De beheerders waren goed bereikbaar en kwamen meteen om bijvoorbeeld een deurklink te repareren. Het zwembad is ook heerlijk, we hebben er veel gebruik van gemaakt. Wel was het water groen en later bleek dat de pomp verstopt zat. Dat was het enige minpunt aan ons verblijf. Het strand is op 10 min rijden. Wel druk, als je om 10 uur gaat is er nog voldoende parkeerplaats. Een lekker koele zee en we hebben mooi gesnorkeld. Restaurant in Platja Sa Riera 'Recer de la Mar' is zeker aan te bevelen. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Kortom een heerlijk week! Babs Schipper

Lovely October break

Really enjoyed Begur and all the areas beeches, villages and the larger resorts and towns surrounding it, all of which are less than 20mins drive from the house. The property was lovely to return to late afternoon to relaxe by the pool , then have diner outside on the balcony, we really enjoyed our morning coffee’s on the front balcony catching those early morning rays. The property is spacious and would be great for larger groups. If I was to offer suggestions to improve the offering, I personally would install a satellite dish with a Humax receiver to obtain some UK tv Alternatively a selection of Box sets for the DVD player would be nice. To top It all a ‘footstool’would be a great addition to the lounge. These are only little add on suggestions as everything else in the property is spot on.

A charming hilltop villa in a quiet spot with beautiful views

We were 2 families of 4 and had such a wonderful stay at Villa Hermosa. The early summer weather meant we could really enjoy the suntrapped pool and the breathtaking local beaches. Begur is a charming local town and all are just a short drive away. Three great bathrooms and comfortable beds with plenty of space. Two bedrooms are downstairs via the outside staircase which worked well for the teenagers. BBQs on the balcony with wine, fish and meat from the local supermarket made for really special evenings. Thank you Derek, Catriona and Kerrie for a great stay. We hope to return some time soon.

Family holiday

Loved the location of the villa, being close to Begur town centre and the local beaches with an excellent supermarket nearby. A car is essential to reach the beaches and also the town centre due to the hilly nature of the area. The villa is lovely and comfortable, and the views delightful. The facilities were very good but on booking the one facility that was important to us was the lift, however, on final payment we were advised that the lift could only be used for transporting shopping etc, not for people. There is no internal staircase so those in the bedrooms on the lower floor had to use the outside staircases to reach the upper floor. On the basis that people cannot use the lift and with approximately 40 stairs to climb to reach the front door this villa may not be suitable for those with walking or breathing difficulties. One of our party did have this issue and it was a concern whether he would cope, thankfully he did, with some difficulty. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa and were well supported by the very helpful Managers.

Maison avec piscine à Begur

La maison est conforme aux photos avec une pièce à vivre et une terrasse très agréable. Nous avons loué cette maison à 2 familles avec 6 enfants total et étions très à l'aise en terme d'espace. A noter que le premier étage et le second communique par un escalier extérieur. Je recommande cette location situee dans une très belle région.

Lovely house to explore local area

Vila Hermosa is a delightful residence near to the town of Begur but ideal for exploring the region's beaches of Aiguablava, Pals, Sa Riera and Sa Tuna. We were a family of 10 people of all ages staying for a week and the house was very comfortable and accommodating for all. The swimming pool area and large balcony were particularly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Excellent Begur villa in a great position

The property is well equipped with everything needed for a large group - we were a party of 7 with three generations - and there was plenty of space. Everything in good condition, clean and well maintained. Very close to an excellent supermarket and 10 minutes drive from the restaurants and bars in Begur. Extremely quiet location, and nice breeze on the main terrace so eating out was never too warm even thought we had mid 30's the whole stay. Catriona and Ryan were very responsive and helpful both before and after our stay - many thanks for an excellent holiday!

Lovely house - amazing views

Our family of 10 including 3 children and one person with limited mobility had an excellent stay at Villa Hermosa. It had everything we needed - spacious and comfortable rooms, well stocked kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and outside space, and beautiful views. The lift was invaluable too especially with heavy bags and lots of shopping. The local manager was really helpful on arrival showing us where everything was and where we could find the supermarket (3 mins away by car and has everything you could possibly need including butcher, baker and fresh fish shop), child friendly restaurants etc. The weather wasn't great but that didn't matter as the amazing views, spacious house and good company more than made up for it. You definitely need a car but there's plenty of parking and there's loads to see in the local area like picturesque beaches and coves. We'd highly recommend this villa for a lovely holiday!

Excellent Choice

Villa Hermosa turned out to be an excellent choice for our family holiday. The layout made it very suitable for a gathering of 3 families with an age range of 70 to 5, with everyone feeling they had enough personal space when needed. The very steep site means that young children need supervision when outside but this is worth it for the lovely views, position, facilities and accomodation. The villa is well situated in a quiet residential area just outside lovely Begur and not far from great beaches. The property was well presented and clean. In our view, it was more spacious and better than we expected from the description and photos. Very helpful handbook provided by the owner. We all had a great week and would recommend this property.

A great time at Hermosa

We had a great time at villa Hermosa. There was enough room and privacy for all of us (6 p). Everything was clean and the pool was cleaned ones a week. There is an elevator in the house, what makes it very comfortable. I would really recommend it to a group of friend or to a big family.
