Emerald Mountain Lookout is a fantastic Steamboat vacation rental location. You feel as you are staying in a cabin in the woods, yet are only located about half a mile from Steamboat Ski Area and three and a half miles from town. It is just a ten minute walk to the slopes with a bus stop near by as well.

Outside the front entrance is one of two private balconies. Enter into the living area which is highlighted by floor to ceiling windows with unforgettable vistas along with fabulous flooring and high ceilings. Kick back on the comfy brand new sofa or chair and warm up by the gas fireplace and watch a movie, show or game on the flat screen tv.

The beautifully remodeled kitchen features gorgeous granite countertops, stainless appliances, ample storage with mountain-style wood cabinetry and two counter seats. It is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking a meal.

The bedroom has a comfy, queen sized bed, access to the private deck a flat screen tv and armoire storage.

The updated full bathroom is right outside the bedroom and has a tub/shower combo. There is ample closet storage outside the bedroom as well, along with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
