The good, the bad, the observations

CONS: No auto on outside light. No garage door opener. Front door lock needs to be replaced. We were locked out because batteries in lock went dead. Waited 1/2 hour b/4 call was answered & another 20 min. trying to get in b/4 we were directed to a lock box in a different location - all done in the dark. Lanai not screened due to Hurricane (we knew this). Back LR furn. uncomfortable, hot & cushions kept sliding out. Glass table tops dirty w/open blinds. OBSERVATIONS: Cupboard doors sticky. Lots of nick knacks. Carpeted bdrms. No TVs in guest brms. No clips for open bags. Front LR blinds have missing slats & “stick” to open & close missing. Lots of ant traps in master bath. No wastebaskets in bdrms. or LRs. Queen bdrm. Has no open plugs by bed. Dishes are plastic & can’t be used in microwave. Home not set-up for elect. devices. No cupboard space for food. Home needs a good deep cleaning.

Great Location!

Home was very clean and was perfect for 2 families. Pool is perfect. About 15 mins from the beach without traffic. Traffic is really bad out to the beach so plan accordingly. We loved our stay. Kitchen is fully equipped and house had lots of room. Only thing I wished it had was a grill. Other than that it was a perfect rental.

Family vacation

Nice open space. Beautiful sunsets over the pool. Nice space for families. If you like a warm swimming pools pay ahead to have it heated. Quiet neighborhood. Relaxing space. Would have liked a grill for outdoor cooking. Convient location for beaches and shopping.

Great home, excellent location

Clean and spacious home with everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels (bath and pool), comfy beds, ceiling fans in every room, beach chairs and pool toys. Private pool is so awesome to have. If you request to heat for additional fee it is set at 89. Location is 20-30 minutes to everything; airport, downtown, Ft. Meyer's Beach and Sanibel. Publix up the block and many restaurants. Only concerns was that front door did not have an additional interior dead bolt and more paper products would be nice. House sleeps 8 but you get only 3 rolls of toilet paper and no extra paper towels. A grill would've been useful too. Property manager is responsive. But I wish he told me that on Mondays house is serviced by pool company and exterminator (outside only). The workers were nice and did their jobs quickly.

Nice digs!

This is a beautiful home in a great location for easy access to the best of what Fort Myers has to offer. It’s a quick drive to sanibel or fort Myers beach and all the great restaurants, night spots ,and recreation they have to offer. The home is very spacious, clean, and well maintained. We under utilized it as there was just the two of us, but we were extremely comfortable right off the bat. Comfortable bed in the master suite! I owned a second home in fort Myers for 15 years, and this is the part of town you want to be in. The neighborhood itself is extremely quiet with basically no traffic, for peaceful evenings around the pool in the lanai. Had a great time and highly recommend this home!

Fabulous vacation home!!

We loved everything about this house!! There were 6 of us and we had plenty of space. The only things I would point out are that ceiling fans throughout the house and on the lanai would be great additions. Also while the house was surface cleaned it could use a good deep cleaning. There were cobwebs on the lights and the furniture was quite dusty. You could tell it hadn’t been really cleaned in quite a while. Other than that the house was really great. Loved the layout, pool, the location, and the neighborhood. We had a great time!!

House is just as beautiful as the pictures, great neighborhood, close to anything you want to do in the area and beautiful view of the lake from the pool and lanai. I would definitely rent here again.

Happy Place!

We had wonderful time at this vacation home ! Nice and clean well taken care of home. Close to lots beaches ,food, shopping and the airport. We also loved having our own private pool for the week!!!

Lovely Home

Our family and friends had a wonderful week here! The home offered plenty of space for 8 adults and it was decorated very nicely. The pool area was a great place to unwind and relax on days we didn't go to the beach. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the home was located closely to stores, restaurants, and a gas station. We would definitely stay here again.!

Great family getaway

Enjoyed every minute of our stay! Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us! It had everything we needed, was very clean and well kept and the location was great! We enjoyed the pool on the days we decided to skip the beach. All in all it was a wonderful home!

Our Happy Place Too!

What a lovely home for our family spring break! Plenty of space, with a well-designed, comfortable layout. Kids' rooms separate from parents' room; living room separate from TV room. On the cooler days, we loved opening all the sliding doors and feeling the fresh air. Truly, My Happy Place is even nicer than the pictures! Thank you and we hope we can come stay again!!

Fantastic winter getaway!

OK for a short stay, but not a long one

The house is well-located and provides adequate space. It was clean and neat, inside and out. However, the furnishings, decorations, and kitchen ware were cheap or absent. Specifically, the mattresses were hard, and the sofas lumpy and uncomfortable. Neither the pool heater nor the AC worked properly upon our arrival. There were old, unmatched towels and no towel bars in the bathrooms. There was no complete set of matched dishes, glasses, or silverware. The pots and pans were scratched, and no longer "non-stick". There were no serving dishes. The TV in the family room was small and old, not at all "smart". The sheets and bedspread in the Queen bedroom were simply too old and worn to be suitable for our guests. We went out and bought new ones. Simply put, the house might be OK for a family staying about a week, but not for much longer.

Went cheap on some key items

We stayed at this home Aug, 2017. The layout is decent, the location and neighborhood were ok and the kids enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately there are a few key items that were a big turn off. The master bed was like sleeping on cement, by the time we left after a week I could hardly walk, my back, neck, shoulder, everything was sore. The kids also complained of uncomfortable beds. The toilet paper and paper towels they leave for you are the lowest quality possible, so you'll want to pick up your own. There were also a ton of frogs and other insects that called the front door their home, was disgusting. We also had trouble with the air conditioner that seemed to have a mind of its own, we'd set it at 72, almost every evening when we were trying to sleep it was at 75-76 degrees, but by morning it was at 70, completely random. On the last morning, check out was 11am, but at 10:30am the mgmt company was calling the home asking if we had left yet while standing in the front yard waiting for us to go, really unnecessary and disrespectful.

Super stay as always

We have been coming to Fort Myers and staying at Wellington Lakes for 11 years now and still love it. Wellington Lakes is a very quiet area which has a good mixture of 3 or 4 bedroom villas. Magnolia Lakes is a lovely villa and has all you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The area is superb as close by you have a Publix, many restaurants, shops, golf courses and the beaches 10 mins away. We will be back next year to do it all again.
