Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this comfortable 4 bedroom home in the leafy area of Mt Iron. The kitchen is well stocked with all the modern facilities & this along with the living/dining area are all open plan, with the living area opening onto a sunny outdoor patio where you can enjoy a BBQ and a cool beverage. This cozy home away from home offers the perfect mix of location, comfort & warmth.

The open-plan living/dining/kitchen area benefits from a heat pump & captures the sun. The bifold doors open onto the private outdoor patio where you can relax in the afternoon sunshine. A spacious kitchen has all the modern conveniences you'll need. All four bedrooms offer comfortable beds & bedding. The master bedroom has its own ensuite. Unlimited fair use WiFi is provided also. The large garage houses the laundry area with a front loader washing machine, dryer & tub, plus there is plenty of room for sports equipment to be stored. Parking is available outside the garage for both a car and boat as well as street parking. All linen & towels are provided for your convenience, as well as some consumables to get you started on your stay.

This home is bound to tick all the right boxes for your holiday plans.

Note: Spa use is included in your booking for stays June 15 to September 30. The spa is available outside of these winter months ON REQUEST at an EXTRA CHARGE. Please advise us if you wish to have the spa included in your stay, outside of the winter dates specified. The spa MUST BE requested 10 days prior to your arrival & paid for 7 days BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL DATE. The spa is NOT AVAILABLE on any instant bookings arriving within a 96 hour period of booking.

Unfortunately, our council regulations prohibit us from exceeding this number, including infants. You will have access to the entire property during your stay.

We are available to answer any questions via our Guest Portal DUVE. We leave guests alone during their stay but are on hand if required. I live locally and Im only a stones throw away. If there is something that requires attention during your stay, we will be able to attend within approximately 30 minutes.

The Mt Iron area is an established leafy suburb of Wanaka, located 5 minutes' drive from Wanaka's Town Center. Wanaka offers a wide variety of activities to do. You can take a lake cruise or a scenic helicopter flight, try your hand at heli-skiing, or fishing in many of the surrounding lakes and rivers. Alternatively, a walk to Rob Roy Glacier in the stunning Mt Aspiring National Park or walk with the locals up Mt Iron might be more your thing.

Dingleburn Safari and Puzzling World with its maze and illusion room offer further entertainment options for children, as does Wanaka's 2 quirky unique movie theaters. If it’s more of a relaxing holiday you’re after, picnics on the Clutha River or Lakefront or a wine tour of the local vineyards are all a stone’s throw away.

Wanaka's airport is 9km away & Queenstown's airport is only an hour’s drive via the stunning Crown Range. And of course, in winter, hit the slopes just a short drive away at the local ski fields: Cardrona, Treble Cone, or the Snow Farm. This beautifully appointed home really is a wonderful base for that perfect holiday/staycation or workcation!

Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to our guest portal DUVE. Prior to check-in, you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your drivers licence/passport and credit card before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). We do not charge your card, nor does it get stored by our system, you are welcome to block out all, except the last 4 digits on the card, but please note that our Guest Portal DUVE has the highest level of PCI compliance available. This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.

An Ideal Home Away From Hone

We loved this property! It had such a homely feel, privacy, great layout, tonnes of off-street parking, in a nice, quiet area. We have rented a few homes in Wanaka and this one was definitely our favourite!

Our Favourite Place!

This is the second time that we have stayed at this property and we absolutely love it. It's so clean and tidy, very well set up and meets all of our needs. We are hoping to come and stay again a third time over the Christmas/New Year period this year too! Thank you so much for having us to stay a second time!

Wonderful week in Wanaka

The house suited our multi-generation needs very well with plenty of space, lots of bedrooms, two bathrooms, a relaxed family vibe and the wonderful hot tub. The only exception was a naughty washing machine that refused to cooperate, and an oven door that, similarly, didn't like shutting. The property manager tried her hardest to get things fixed over Easter and answered each query promptly.We managed workarounds, and would book the house again.
