Checkin a little clunky - phone no given on PDF never answered when established wrong code provided and unable to get keys. Clean reasonably basic apartment with good location for walk into CBD. - as is often the case smaller than photos suggest.

Weekend away

Good location, sheets and underlay were stained and smelled unclean. The room smelt of cigarette smoke. In air conditioning. The room is pretty marked and damaged. As for the pool that is just false advertising as in fine print you can’t use it unless you pay 150pp but even then you have to do induction which is only done on Wednesday or Saturday complete rip off.

Trade-Offs

On the plus side: great view, convenient location, nice building, good water pressure. On the downside: The apartment smells strongly of cigarette smoke. Pervasive. I told the property manager, so he is aware. There is little that’s designer about the apartment. It no longer resembles the listing photo. Tired furniture (some with obvious breakage), very basic bedding, only three sad towels - one of which is a kitchen towel. An important dryer knob is broken off, so you can only guess at the setting you want, using the pliers provided to turn the knob stem. Note: Keys for the unit are picked up a few blocks away, so be aware of how you will manage luggage when you move in. There are trade-offs with this property, obviously. We, however, would not return.

Great location but the apartment has had some wear

Check-in instruction very detailed and very easy. Location is convenient with lots of nearby restaurants. Apartment is not as new as pictured; it has had significant wear since photos were taken. Apartment was clean overall, although sheets were stained. Bath towels were adequate, but the only hand towel in the bathroom was actually a kitchen towel and there were no towels in the kitchen. Sponges in the kitchen were soiled. We had to buy paper towels to use. The lack of a clean sponge and kitchen towel made the kitchen useless for cooking. The dryer had a missing dial with only a pair of pliers next to it - to turn the exposed stub? I messaged the Vrbo contact about this and never got a reply. Both the kitchen and laundry issues were major disappointments in this property.
