This large one bedroom self-catering flat is available for holiday lets of a week or more throughout the year. With a double bed in the bedroom and a single in the living room. Suitable for 2 people. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer, bathroom with tub/ power shower & free broadband Internet access. Flat occupants have use of the garden leading down to the river and transport into central London is easy via District line tube, train to Waterloo or River Bus. Putney High St is a 5 minute walk and has many excellent shops and restaurants.
The flat is fully equipped, cleaned weekly, and the owners live in the same building should guests have questions or need help.

Comfortable and convenient

The apartment is very comfortable with a lovely and always changing view of the Thames from the lounge room window. Close to transport links to central London - Putney bridge tube station or Uber boat pier are close by. Shops, restaurants and lots of good pubs are an easy walk away. Lovely, quiet location to come back to after a busy day exploring central London. Would happily stay here again when next in London.

On the river.

Safe and convenient accommodation in a quiet part of the city. Close to restaurants and stores. Spacious apartment with a big sitting room. Large bedroom with a wonderfully comfortable bed. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay in Puntney!

Great location, great communication with the owner. Easy access to the tub and other transportation to get around London. Being on the Thames was just icing on the cake. Could not have asked for more.

As advertised and better…

On the river Thames and very spacious, Swan Studios is conveniently located with a great view of the river. You don’t have to wander far at all to get on the tube! Very spacious and clean. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay out of the cbd.

Lovely by the River Thames

Close to the tube. Very clean amd homely with a lovely view of the River Thames from the lounge. Close to Putney and shops plusbthe River Clipper. Very comfortable flat and well furnished.

Comfortable stay in Putney

We enjoyed our time staying in this property. It had a large bedroom, lounge/dining roomand a very functional kitchen and bathroom. It is located very close to a wide range of shops and cafes and retail stores in Putney. It has also very close to two tube stations and a national rail station. The property overlooks the Thames river and is a very lovely and well cared for property. We found the beds very comfortable. Our host Wendy was always courteous and helpful and made sure that we had a very pleasant stay.

River Thames Flat

The place was lovely with a beautiful view of the Thames River. Super clean, beds are comfortable and the shower is strong. The pictures do not do it justice. The place is a lot larger. The host Warren is great to communicate with. I look forward to staying there the next time I am in London.

The property was "as advertised." Wendy and Warren, our contacts, were extremely helpful and pro-active. The apartment is well equipped, warm, and inviting. The washing machine and dryer were efficient and appreciated.

glimpse of tide changes

we hope to rebook in the next few years. really found the location on the water to be excellent for all our needs, close enough to the tube from airport but don’t bring giant rolling bags if you can’t hike up and down stairs with it. glad we easily could. and the house very comforting after the hustle and bustle of the tourist locations. pack your own soaps. kitchen had all a cook needs. calm mornings surrounded with cool art for tea /coffee with the sound of the tube while rowing coaches bark instructions to the team. we loved being close to the uber boat to travel to the towers, craven cottage fulham FC nearby, some nice pubs / cafes/ restaurants

Good find

What a setting, right on the Thames. There is ample space and beds for 3 people. The fully furnished kitchen makes it possible to do some of your own cooking. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood, but stores, pubs, coffee shops are only a few blocks away. The only downside is that the nearest Tube station involves about 150 stairs, up and down, with nary a lift. I have recommended this place on Facebook.

A Completely Perfect Flat.

Upon seeing the flat in person I immediately said that the pictures don't do it justice! A truly lovely flat and just perfect for myself, my husband, and our 18 year old son. Comfortable beds, great shower, and a good kettle. What more does one need? We were even able to do some washing which was a huge help. A 10 minute walk to the tube (yes, there are many stairs) or the other direction to mainline trains (or another less stairsy tube stop.) The high street even closer with restaurants and useful shops make this ideally located. The view of the Thames and neighbors gardens made even a cold winter visit just beautiful. Would/will absolutely love to stay here again next time.

Living Local

When my husband retired, one of our bucket list items was to live in London for two months. The Thamesfield flat in Putney made that possible, and we leave with many wonderful memories. The hosts were always helpful. The flat was clean, spacious, and well supplied. Best of all, the large picture window gave us a daily view of the back lawn running down to the Thames River. There is so much life on the river! The Thamesfield flat has a neighborhood feel, yet it is a short walk to the London Underground and buses for quick access to central London. Staying in Putney allowed us to feel like locals, while enjoying the sites of London. Highly recommend!

Prime location in London

What a great flat! We stayed in London for one week and we're extremely happy with our accommodation. We visited and supported many local businesses in the area. Easy access to literally everything you could want or need. We thoroughly enjoyed the view from the window (and the yard) of the Thames. Due to our late arrival on Sunday and with many businesses being closed the next day for the Queen's funeral, our host kindly did a bit of shopping of the essentials, butter, bread,etc). This was greatly appreciated and extremely kind and didn't accept any offer of us paying for it. I highly recommend this host and location.
