Welcome to "Skipping Stones" Brand New Construction November 2022, HIGH LUXE 2+ Bedroom Cabin that sleeps up to 12 guests! Skipping Stones, features 2 King Master Suites downstairs, and a loft game room/bunk room making this the perfect Family Beavers Bend cabin!

The main level of the cabin features a large kitchen and dining area with state of the art amenities. The gas fireplace is perfect for unwinding after a long day hiking or on the lake. Downstairs you also find two king master bedrooms each with their own private bathroom, and a half bath right off the living/kitchen space!

Upstairs you will find, The loft game room/bunk room area, which is perfect for the kids and adults alike to relax, have fun, and entertain! This includes a 8 foot shuffleboard table, scrabble, flat screen TV, and much more! Sleeping arrangements for the loft include 2 custom built queen over queen bunks beds, offering additional sleeping for 8 guests! You will also find a full bathroom right off the loft, making it convenient for your guest!

Off the back of the cabin, enjoy the views of the mature towering pines, while relaxing snuggled up next to the gas fireplace! Or fire up the propane grill, and enjoy the scenery while preparing an awesome dinner for your family and friends! Take a dip into a 6-person hot-tub and if the evening calls for s’mores, you can camp out around the fire-pit at the bottom of the stairs off the deck. And that's not all, anyone looking for some competition outdoors? Skipping Stones also provides corn hole boards, and bean bags for our guests!

Quiet Getaway

The cabin was very accommodating for 8 adults. Good location. The appliances was higher tech. The bed linens could have been clean better.

What a wonderful time we hade. We love going this time of year. We can walk the neighbor where we stayed and see the deer through the trees. So quiet all you hear are the pine cones falling from the tree's. We loved sitting out on the back porch early in the morning's and late in the evenings. So beautiful.

Long weekend getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay. It was clean and backed into a private lot which we loved. We were given driving instructions but the address on the listing isn’t correct. There weren’t any toiletries so be prepared to bring or purchase some when you arrive. I will +1 that this place is very hot inside upon arriving. Once you get the temp down, open the vents, and put the fans on it cools down. Overall it was great.

Beautiful Home

Great home. Great experience. Great little town. We did have some trouble reaching/finding the location. I even printed out the written instructions and it was hard to find it. I don’t believe the home is mapped yet on either Google or Apple maps. Nonetheless, I did call the office and they stayed on the phone with us until we found the location. There are minimal road signs and still some construction so it makes it more difficult to find. Otherwise, home is beautiful and spacious. The back deck is to die for! We had a great time and hope to be back soon!

Overall our stay was great and relaxing

Beds were comfortable. Plenty of seating, there could be more comfortable lounging furniture in the living room and on the patio. Cool air didn’t flow very well to the upstairs loft. The kids complained of it being warm and stuffy upstairs, especially in the bunks. All of the appliances worked well except for the one issue we had with the oven. The cabin is fairly new (we weren’t the first ones to stay here or attempt to use the oven) but apparently the oven was installed and connected as if it was using natural gas rather than propane so the oven caught fire. The situation was resolved quickly, employees from Creative Escapes came out quickly to assess the situation, ordered the necessary part, and they fixed it within the next day or so. They knew it wasn’t working properly but I don’t think they could pinpoint the actual problem until our stay. We were thankful for there prompt response to the issue. Bugs weren’t really a problem but we kept getting bit by something indoors, maybe ants. But we were in the sticks and expected that. We kept smelling a foul odor as if an animal had died nearby. We came to the conclusion it was the septic system and sprinklers. The sprinklers are located uphill so the water drains back down to the property and it smells awful. It made it difficult to use the patio table for eating. There’s lots of construction going on so be prepared to listen to that during the weekdays instead of relaxing nature sounds. We will use Creative Escapes again.

Skippin’ stones indeed

Double masters downstairs and a bunked loft upstairs made for a perfect getaway with our best friends and their family. We loved the creek, the back porch, and the great views from the windows. Lots of storage space and room to spread out.
