Nice location, clean and comfortable

Lovely cabin across the road from the water. Neighbors were friendly and the area was great for our dog. A deer came right up to us at the fire pit and the chickens down the road were fun to visit.

Great weekend

Celebrated a milestone birthday getaway….Beautiful home and great places to hike. We cooked dinner each night. Wished the no burn rule was not in place and understand why.

Beautiful home in great location

First off, great communication with the host. Beautiful home with all modern creature comforts. We enjoyed cooking out on the spacious deck. We book to be near places to kayak (our own) and hike. Promised Land State park was very convenient for both. Shohola Falls is nice too. The Delaware is right there. Enjoyable! Thanks!

August 2024 Shohola Stay

The house is very nice and as pictured. The setting is more community then we had expected and there is road noise. Enjoyed the fire pit and the creek. We spent the days on the Upper Delaware from Narrowsburg down to Port Jervis and did some hiking at 10 mile river. We look forward to coming back another time.

Quaint, Modern Cabin with a Creekside Fire Pit

We loved the out of the way cabin with beautiful views of the creek and the sitting area and fire pit by the water. Retro modern kitchen and dining room, nice space with some cool touches. Scenic drives to Milford, Hawley, Lords Valley, Lake Wallenpaupack, and many hiking trails and waterfalls. If you head down yo Milford, check out La Posada, Waterwheel Cafe, and Log Tavern Brewing!

Modern and Peaceful

The house was comfortable, with quality furniture, kitchen and bath items. The decor and beautiful outside spaces provided a peaceful and relaxing setting. Would suggest leaving more drawers and closet space for visitors. We love the place and would return! Thank you.

Best Pet Friendly Getaway

We went to this lovely cottage to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The wooded setting was beautiful and our dog especially enjoyed swimming in the creek. The small, but well equipped, kitchen had everything we needed to cook gourmet meals. It was a joy to eat breakfast and read the paper on the wraparound deck overlooking the creek. An assortment of streaming services provided plenty of entertainment. We found dozens of hiking trails and waterfalls close by to explore, and visited historic Milford. Following full, happy days we slept soundly on a very comfortable bed in one of the two bedrooms. The water pressure of the shower was a welcome change from the one we have at home. Finally, everything was nicely decorated and perfectly clean.
