Guds Country Lodge är bara platsen för din nästa chef, familj, kyrka eller jakt reträtt. Denna rustika-eleganta och rymliga Vacation Lodge på 40 privata hektar av enbär och drev träd ligger strax utanför Crawford Colorado, nära ingången till norra kanten av Black Canyon i Gunnison National Park. Den har hisnande utsikt över West Elk Vildmark bergskedja, Needle Rock (en 700-ft. Vulkanisk monolit), och Grand Mesa.

Detta 6.000 kvadratmeter, två våningar Lodge har två fullt utrustade kök, ett stort rum, en gillestuga, sju badrum, och sex sovrum. Extra funktioner inkluderar en stor öppen spis, våt bar, två plasmaskärmar TV, satellit-TV, trådlöst internet, biljardbord, gas grill på däck, och ångrum. Reasonable Price

Great view of needle rock and the West Elk mountains! Big house for a good price. Love the big living room/Kitchen area with all the animal mounts. Would recommend anyone to stay there.

God’s Country Lodge

Stayed here when we came out to Colorado for a wedding. It is a beautiful place with million dollar views! I hope we can stay here again sometime. The hosts are great people, very responsive to any needs! Thank you, we had a great time.

This lodge is truly amazing and the views are spectacular. My family and I loved our stay here. It wa the perfect place for family and friends to gather after my dad's memorial service. My family and I hope to plan another gathering here in the near future.

Amazing property

Our stay at God’s Country was amazing and perfect for our big family. It had everything you could think of, plus some! The furnishings were rustic, the views were beautiful, the amenities satisfied all age groups, and the black canyon was beyond beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful place!

When we first arrived, we were all wowed! The home had plenty of room for our group of 9. We all enjoyed exploring the Black Canyon and Ouray and spending our days relaxing at the home. It is a very family friendly home and a well maintained property. The owner and local caretaker were very friendly and responsive to our needs.

Beyond Awesome

This property is gorgeous inside out. The property was very clean and well maintained. Everything was provided in abundance, be it bath towels or kitchen supplies. Once you step outside, serene mountain views can be enjoyed from the deck. We loved watching sunrise and moonrise during our stay.

God's Country LLC in Crawford, Colorado

This property was all it was said to be. It was clean and well maintained and the owner/manager was so nice and helpful to work with. Close to Crawford State Park and The Black Canyon of the Gunnison, it provide our Ladies Retreat attendee's opportunity for side trips in a comfortable and beautiful setting. I would most definitely recommend God's Country Lodge to anyone wanting a getaway no matter what the occasion. Can't wait for our next trip there.

Wonderful Reunion Home

Our children and grandchildren, 18 of us in all, spent five wonderful days in this beautiful home. The proximity to Black Canyon of the Gunnison can’t be beat. The home is well-furnished and also well-suited for extended families. We had two infants with us and no one except their parents could hear them during the night and the sleeping babies weren’t bothered by the sounds of the other children. The owner responded promptly to communication and informed us prior to our stay of a mechanical issue in the home, which allowed us to make preparations. I highly recommend this home, especially for a family reunion.

Perfect house for large family vacation

I just can’t say enough great things about this home!! The house is absolutely stunning inside and out!! All of the views are just as stunning as the home. The deck is perfect for viewing the sunrise over the mountains. The house is fully stocked with everything that you would need. Plenty of activities for all ages from board games, puzzles to movies and a pool table and sauna and more!! Lots of activities to choose from in the surrounding area, great base camp for your vacation. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We would definitely stay at this home again.

God's country is right!

This property is all the listing states and more. There was a WELL stocked pantry and all the kitchen supplies you could need. We had plenty of TP and cleaning supplies, which is not always the case with VRBO's. Nancy was easy to reach and helpful. She responded to us within an hour each time we reached out via email. The home is large and beautiful. The furniture was comfortable and the deck was out favorite part. It was a favorite gathering place to watch sunrises and visit. I would highly recommend this home!

All 5s- cant say enough great things!

The cabin was perfect for our large group of 12. One afternoon my brother visited from Mancos Co., that brought our numbers up to18! Still plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable and have enough space to mingle and visit. Home was well stocked and had everything we could need. This is the first rental we have stayed at that had more than enough towels and washcloths for everyone. If walls could talk, I thought and wondered about the stories behind the taxidermy. The hunters should create a book telling their stories. I know hunters LOVE to share their stories! Beautiful place, would definitely like to visit again!

BEAUTIFUL! Highly recommend. Worth every penny!

We LOVED this house! The home looks just like the pictures. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were great - many with double shower heads. The kitchen was well stocked (we really love cooking with cast iron and were so excited to see some great pans to use). Honestly it had everything. We watched the sunrise on the deck, enjoyed walking through the land and made many memories playing with the kids in the rec room. We are a family of 8 and had TONS of space. The home would very comfortably fit very large groups. The layout and size is so nice that guests could wake up at different times, be showering, making breakfast, watching tv (etc, etc) and not disturb each other. Highly recommend this house. If we ever traveled to Crawford again we'd totally stay here. 5 stars!

Truly God’s Country Home

This home was ideal for our group of 9 senior women hikers. It is spacious and clean and the deck provided awesome views of sunrises over the mountains and deer grazing in the fields below us. Sunsets were especially colorful and unusual due to smoke from wildfires in Colorado. The kitchens were well equipped and the supply of paper and plastic products Was just over the top. We have rented homes for the past 10 yr and this was first time we had items like paper plates and cups, sandwich bags And freezer bags, and aluminum foil and plastic wrap Supplied by the owner. Truly amazing and wonderful addition. We loved that the Black Canyon of the Gunnison national Park was so Close and easily accessible from the home. This home is lovely and provides a truly relaxing atmosphere. Thank you, Nancy and Richard, for your timely response to our questions. We would not hesitate to rent this beautiful home again.

Several of us come here once or twice a year to quilt and have time with each other. The facility is wonderful. The owners are so accommodating and easy to work with. A fantastic situation!

Awesome place!

Set on a huge property, this massive house is great for large groups who want plenty of beds and plenty of bathrooms. The basement has a steam room that we didn't use, and a game area that we enjoyed thoroughly. The house is situated only 15 minutes from the north rim of the canyon. And while the town of Crawford is nothing to write home about, there are several wineries within 30-40 minutes north, and Paonia itself has a nice little downtown for shopping. Crawford Reservoir was very low in Sept, but would have been good for kayaking earlier in the season. Overall, this house is a wonderful place to hang out with family and friends for a more private, more remote getaway.

Family Reunion

We needed a centrally located place to host a family reunion. We had family coming from Texas, Montana, Idaho & Arizona. We settled on this location. This home had great reviews and we hoped for the best. We were shocked when we got there. The pictures do not do this home justice. It was just want we needed. We had 20 people, 10 adults and 10 kids. there was so much room we never felt crowed at all. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen well stocked and we just had a blast spending time together. Thank you Nancy for all of the wonderful memories we made.

We live on a small farm in a rural community in southern California - but were born and raised in western Colorado. Dick is a lawyer and a pastor - but his favorite role is "papa" to his children and grandchildren. Nancy (aka "Nana") writes children's books and directs children's theatre productions and day camps for her neighbors.

God's Country LLC is owned by the Streza and Gonzalez families. We built it as a hunting lodge and "home away from home." Because we can't get there as often as we'd like, we decided to share it with others through VRBO. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!

God's Country Lodge is in a quiet rural setting with amazing views. It's a place to slow down and connect with the people you love. If your goal is to explore western Colorado (Aspen, Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction, Montrose, Ouray, Telluride and Grand Mesa), it's a centrally-located home base for day trips. The elevation is 7,251. We try to keep the kitchen well-stocked with "extras" (like spices, oils, vinegars, flour, sugar, plastic bags and aluminum foil), because the closest grocery store is 25 minutes away. Guests are encouraged to use what they need - and replace whatever they can. It is important to us that you have a wonderful time at our "home away from home."
