The fully updated condo has a screened-in, furnished patio and direct access to a large backyard/common area with grills and peekaboo views of the bay through lush mangroves. The unit is close to the gym, fishing pier, tennis/pickleball courts, picnic area, and swimming pool (largest heated saltwater pool on the island!) Amenities abound here at Runaway Bay!

Living Spaces:
This comfortable and convenient ground floor unit has new luxury laminate flooring the color of weathered oak. The open-concept kitchen/living/dining area makes for easy entertaining. The walls are a soothing warm neutral hue. The new living room sofa and loveseat are the color of beach sand and are adorned with coastal-themed accent pillows. The sofas are nicely arranged around a coffee table and rustic, distressed entertainment cabinet with a SmartTV. The living room sofa is a Queen XL sleeper sofa.

Tranquil coastal ambiance is in the details of this professionally designed living room; the matching ocean-blue glazed lamps, seascape-themed fine wall art, velvet blue armchair in the corner, stylish drapes. This is a comfortable space for conversation, cocktails, cozying up to read, or kicking back to stream your favorite shows and movies. Sliding glass doors from the living room open out to the screened-in lanai with access to the backyard.

Kitchen:
The fully-equipped kitchen has French white cabinets, laminate countertops, a 4-burner electric range, a full-size fridge/freezer combo with ice maker, a microwave, dishwasher, oven, and double basin sink. Plenty of counter space! The breakfast bar, which offers seating for three, is a great spot to sip your morning coffee or fresh-squeezed citrus juice. Additional items include drip coffee maker & Keurig, toaster, blender, etc. Just off the kitchen is a washer and dryer.

Dining:
The dining area has an elegant new formal dining table with seating for four, below a coastal/rustic, edison bulb-style chandelier. Fix a fresh tropical fruit salad for lunch, grill some fresh seafood for dinner or serve Cuban picadillo. Enhance the meal with grilled pineapple or guacamole with chips. This stylish dining room is a comfortable space to gather with friends or family for dinner table conversation and vacation memories of a lifetime.
The dining room also features built-in bookshelves and a laptop-friendly work desk with upholstered chair. This elegant room is easily utilized as an office/workspace in-between meal times.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms:
This stylish ground floor condo has 2br/2ba, four beds, and can accommodate up to six guests. Both bedrooms have all-new luxury mattresses, ceiling fans, and smartTV’s. Bathrooms are stocked with plush towels, hairdryers, and toiletries.

The primary bedroom has a new king bedroom set with matching nightstands, reading lamps, armchair, a bureau, large closet and tasteful coastal decor. The primary also has an ensuite full bath with a large, single-sink granite vanity and a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom has one queen bed and one twin bed, two large closets, and access to a hallway bath. The hallway bathroom also has a large single-sink granite vanity and a tub/shower combo.

This stylish, ground-floor condo has a screened-in lanai with patio furniture. A great spot to enjoy the ocean breeze as you sip your morning cappuccino or evening cocktail! The lanai has a beach closet that is stocked with beach wagons, chairs, fishing rods, floats, and toys. The lanai opens out to the lush backyard common space with grills. This backyard space is a great place for kids to play.

Access to resort-style amenities is the real incentive to escape to Runaway Bay! Enjoy private beach/deeded beach access directly across the street. Swim in the largest, heated, salt-water pool on the island, play on the tennis/pickleball courts, or in the shuffleboard/bocce ball area. Work out in the gym, fish off the pier, or tie up at the private boat dock. Dining, entertainment and nightlife are just a few moments' stroll from this convenient ground-floor unit.

The beaches of Anna Maria flaunt the prettiest seashells in Florida. Anna Maria is also a top US location for rare seashells.

The Neighborhood:

Nestled on the Bay of Anna Maria Island, and just across the street from the Gulf of Mexico, this ground-floor condo truly is a little spot of coastal heaven. Start your day watching sunrise over the bay on the community dock; end your day watching a stunning sunset on the beach. The common grassy area in the back also is a great space for kids to play. Set up some yard games!

Swim in the turquoise Gulf of Mexico where dolphins play daily. Bring your fishing gear to cast a line off the pier, or rent a boat to get out on deep water and fish. Walk to 14 different restaurants! Prime location offers an easy stroll to boutiques, entertainment, grocery market, and pharmacy. Nearby are boat rentals, sunset cruises, as well as jet ski, bike, paddleboard, scooter, and kayak rentals.

This seven-mile barrier island is Florida’s best-kept secret. There’s a saying here; “when you're on Anna Maria Island, you don’t go to the beach… because on Anna Maria Island, you’re already at the beach.”

The Island in the Sun is Florida’s best-kept secret. With Gulf temperatures averaging 84 degrees and 360 days of sunshine per year the surrounding waters of AMI are known as “the nursery” because of the large number of dolphins that raise their young here.

With the island’s laid-back charm and leisurely unhurried living, speed limits are restricted to 25 mph - 35 mph throughout most of the island. This tropical paradise also offers free trolley service for both tourists and residents.

Be sure to visit Anna Maria City Pier! Built in the early 1900s, this 700-foot-long pier provides a great vantage point for watching sunrises and sunsets, bird watching, dolphin watching, and provides views of Tampa Bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. You can also fish off this pier.

Bridge Street Pier, located on the southern end of the island in Bradenton Beach, honors the past while still embracing the future with its ‘Old Florida’ charm mixed with new restaurants, shops, galleries, and more.

Enjoy the architecture and charm of Historic Green Village. Most of the restored buildings now run on solar panels and other modern energy-saving methods.

The island, surrounded by water and interlaced with canals, is host to many amazing sea creatures - among them are Loggerhead Turtles, Manatees, and dolphins. Loggerhead turtles are a protected species and we have the Turtle Watch - a group of wonderful folks who search the beaches for nests and protect those nests until the eggs hatch (it is illegal for anyone to tamper with the nests). Manatees are also protected here in Florida - they are commonly seen in the summer when they leave their winter warm waters and migrate south.
