The Space:
This condo is in a fantastic location and should satisfy all your family
needs. Situated on East Bahama Street, you can easily walk to over a dozen
bars and restaurants, and it's less than a block away from the public beach
access at the end of the street. You simply will not have to drive at all.
For somewhat budget-conscious families seeking ample sleeping space, this two-
bedroom condo offers more than usual. The master bedroom features a queen bed,
while the second bedroom includes two newer bunk beds with full-sized
mattresses. The living room also has a small pull-out couch & we do provide an
airbed & pump just in case. Please do bring extra bedding if you plan on using
the pull out or the airbed.

You can easily walk to the beach without crossing the busy Padre Blvd (main
thoroughfare) as Mar y Sol is located on the east side (beachside) of Padre
Blvd. This 8-plex has a modest pool, though it is not heated.
The entire condo was freshly repainted on January 1, 2023, giving it a more
clean and updated feel, though it is not a brand new nor fully remodeled
space. The kitchen features an open-concept layout with a convenient
counter/bar for serving family meals. It's fully equipped with pots, pans,
dishes etc to make meal prep money and time saving.
This second-floor unit requires ascending one flight of stairs. It offers
high-speed Wi-Fi, although internet service on the island can sometimes be
inconsistent. Linens and towels are provided. A starter pack of toiletries
such as soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, trash bags, and
coffee is included. These supplies are not unlimited or replenished, so please
plan accordingly.
We do offer off season discounts for stays over 4 nights Sept 2 to Dec 20th,
as well as active military & tackle football coach discounts. Just contact us
we would love to hook you up if you qualify!
Property is professionally managed by South Padre Trips locally at 2600 Padre
Blvd 78597 here on the Island. We provide an E-door code by 3 pm the day of
check in via text message to the number on file.
Up to 8 people, including infants, are allowed at any time. This is a family-
oriented property, so parties are not permitted, and quiet time is from 9 pm
to 9 am. Please read and agree to all house rules before booking.
Our listing requires that the primary tenant be 25 years of age or older to
book and must be present at check-in. Please contact us prior to booking if
you are under 25; exceptions may be possible with additional requirements.
Please be aware that we require an e-sign rental agreement with a photo ID
after booking. This is necessary to maintain our City of South Padre Island
rental license. You must e-sign the rental agreement via DocuSign before
arrival to receive your door code. Provide your email address and attach a
photo of your ID, or upload it to Airbnb messaging to verify your age as 25
years or older.
Our City of South Padre rental license is available upon request.
