The Hideaway is a hidden gem tucked into the hillside on the upper bench in the remote mountain town Tumbler Ridge, located in Northern British Columbia.

Outdoor enthusiasts are invited to relax both indoors and out after days filled with hiking, rock climbing, viewing the many local waterfalls, golfing, biking, ATVing, visiting the dinosaur artifacts, skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and more. As a designated UNESCO Global Geopark, The possibilities to explore in this area are endless.

Charming and cozy furnishings inside with every detail thought of for your comfort lead to an outdoor oasis boasting an outdoor barrel sauna, cozy patio, unique fire pit and seating area with a view of the mountains at the top perfect for star gazing and viewing the northern lights.

Perfect weekend getaway

Overall awesome stay!

We don’t have any complaints. This Vrbo has everything you would need during your stay, even some snacks were provided. On our first day we asked the host Dee how to get the door to self-lock behind us and she responded right away with a simple solution. We also asked for more wood one day during our stay and she showed up the next morning with more wood for us. Awesome host and a great place to stay!

Absolutely Fantastic Home!

The style in this home was so sweet! My girls and I loved the boho theme. The place was well stocked, in the kitchen, with linens, even extras available like beach towels and walking sticks for excursions. This is not stocked with someone's rejected goods: there were nice, new towels, bed linens, furnishings and kitchen wares. And the place is beautifully renovated and clean (we even plan to mimic some bathroom ideas in our own home's planned reno!)

Lovely home

8 of us stayed here for a hiking trip and had a great time. The house is very cute and had almost everything. The oven does not work so that was a bit tricky as we did plan our meals thinking we could use one. However, they did buy a very small toaster oven/ air fryer that we used. The house was clean, other than quite a bit of dust under couches but that was minor! Overall a great place to stay but maybe not for 8 adults as the beds are double not queen.

It’s Perfect

From the moment we stepped through the doors, the ambiance set the tone for our stay. We lacked for nothing. From the delicious snacks to the toiletries. The comfy chairs to the high end decor, this place has it all. The interior is very modern, clean and bright. We had privacy in the wonderful back yard. The property has a beautiful deck, and a great outdoor space with a unique metal fire pit and plenty of seating. We highly recommend this home if you’re looking for a home away from home in Tumbler Ridge.
