Our time there was great. Location was close but still away from everything so it was quiet at nighttime. Would absolutely stay again!

Family ski trip

This was our second time to stay at this property and we had another great visit! We had a few questions for the owner and he was always very helpful and responsive, which we really appreciated! We like the location of this property because it is close to the shuttle for skiing.

Perfect Location

Perfect location to skiing. Only downside was the lighting…only lamps in bedrooms.

Great location

The condo was clean and in a great location. No shampoo or soap in the shower, so pack accordingly. We also brought food and ice but the fridge/freezer was unplugged when we got there, so we had to wait a while for it to get to temp. Not a huge deal, but would have made for a more welcoming experience if the place was a bit more ready for guests.

Good, could be better though

The great - The place is nice, and i'd stay there again. The kitchen is very nice, lots of a stuff, plenty of space. Beds were good. Fridge is awesome. Nice having washer/dryer. Plenty of blankets and sheets. Parking and location are great.The bad - The master bathroom jetted tub is pretty gross, fine as a shower only, needs to just have the jets plugged off. There was a mild smell in the place (possibly marijuana, even though the whole complex says no smoking within 50 yards), not bad, but noticeable whenever you showed back up. Also, there were pistachio shells under one of the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom, and in the sofa bed, cleaning could be done better (at least the floors). All in all I'd stay again, for a high cleaning fee it should be better though.

Nice size for family of 4. Comfortable beds and sufficient bathrooms. Kitchen needs bakeware options

Overall we enjoyed our stay and rental experience. The location was great! As a family who likes to cook we could have used additional cookware that is oven safe and the cooktop could be updated. It’s a cozy condo with a great view of Wheeler Peak and worked for our third trip to Angel Fire.

Perfect for our family spring break stay!

Nicely furnished and very comfortable! The town is small, and so we spent most of our time at the condo whenever we were not on the mountain. So it was nice that the place was very comfortable. Would be a tight stay for more than 4 adults. We were a family of 4 adults and 1 toddler, so it was perfect. Definitely not more than 6 total people. The owners were friendly and helpful!

Great place to stay!

Great location and well furnished. Close to slopes and shuttle was really convenient. Dryer took a long time to dry clothes and had to keep in mind that the hot water tank wasn’t huge with three kids to get showered, but manageable once we ran out the first time. We loved our stay and plan to visit again.

The place was very clean! Was very comfortable, plenty of blankets.

We had a good stay at the condo! Somethings that where alittle inconvenient was that the shuttle bus did not stop on street by condo. The alternative was just to drive to the free parking and catch the shuttle, way to far to walk. The property was on the second floor, very accessible. There are not very many shops around if you have ones that want too. There is a great grocery store(Lowes) down the street reasonable prices. The condo came furnished, coffee pot, dishwasher, crockpot, toaster.

Well Stocked!

The Vespasian's condo was a great place for our first family ski vacation. The kitchen had a nice Waring Pro flip waffle maker, tons of pots and pans, coffee mugs, and utensils. We pretty much ate every meal at the condo, so it made things a lot easier for the 7 of us (4 adults and 3 kids). The condo even had Saran wrap and foil. I never remember to bring those things along, but this condo had them. The condo has nice water pressure and only once did we run out of hot water. All of us were taking showers. The condo has a small stacked washer and dryer. We had to run 2 loads for the towels before we checked out. So before you leave, plan ahead. Wash 1 load the day before and wash the second load as you are packing. They ask that you leave the towels in the dryer. If you have little ones, be careful of the wall heater. We never used it since it wasn't very cold when we were there, but if it's on, I'm sure it would get very hot. It's at their eye level. The condo has an electronic fireplace too. It gave off heat and looked pretty cool. The kids loved playing the board games (Sorry, Life, and Battleship). We watched some TV, but there weren't that many channels and they were a little blurry. Bring movies. I think they had a Blu-ray player. The internet was really bad. They provided a Mifi for free, but it's very slow. It made things a bit rough to try to work (which I shouldn't have been doing anyways). Hopefully they'll get high speed internet sometime soon. Cell service was pretty bad as well in the condo. We had Sprint and Verizon. The king bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The sheets were really soft. We never heard any neighbors. It's a long walk to the ski lift, but there is a shuttle bus that will pick you up. I think it costs $1 to be picked up by the condo or you can walk over to the ski resort parking lot (which is also very close) and get picked up for free. We saw a family of deer while riding on the shuttle to go tubing. We had a great time in Angel Fire at the Vespasian's condo. We had no issues while staying there. It's an affordable, nice, well stocked condo.
