Location

Adorable apartment in a beautiful area. I enjoyed walking to the restaurants and boutiques shops. Lots of dogs and very friendly people. Comfortable place. I even ordered a couch like the one that was there.

Not Quite As Expected

We had to reach out the owner at check in time as we still hadn't received check-in details, however they were received promtly after. Pictures do oversell the property. It is up two flights of stairs but this wasn't an issue for us. The house is a bit older and felt a bit run down and dirty in some areas. Large unit, very dirty

The size of the unit is impressive however the cleanliness was non existent. When I contacted the owner he sent his father up to ask what our problem was. The filth of the tub, pubic hairs on toilet and floor, grease on the stove were just a few of the issues. We decided to leave after the father stormed out saying he had two units to clean that day and didn't have time. The grime on the tub most certainly was building up for a long period. The owner quickly texted me warning that if I left a bad review he would do the same to me. He subsequently had the nerve to text me a week and a half later to state he had a good review. He included the review with the person's name and phone number attached. So much for confidentiality. Read the other reviews and see how he responds to feedback...that is the first clue to stay clear of this property and its owner.

The location was great we were able to walk everywhere. The size and setup of the apartment was perfect for us as well. Communicating with the owner was very easy with quick responses. We plan on coming back and next summer and would love to stay here again!

Great location

This location was perfect for multiple trips back and forth to Western University. We enjoyed waking to restaurants, coffee shops and grocery. This property had all the amenities we needed and offered a perfect space for our family of 4.

Spacious quiet stay close to charming Wortley Village

Attentive host, comfortable beds, plenty of space. An ideal situation for our family of six. Would stay here again.

I really enjoyed staying at this property, the rooms are big and sleeping area's give you privacy. It may be only a two bedroom but, with the yoga room it really is three. There are 4 TV's so we all could watch what we wanted. It was very close to where we needed to be. There was a very good pizza joint not very far away. The washer and dryer were very quiet and did not interrupt any conversation or TV watching. There was an abundant amount of cleaning supplies in case you needed it and enough shampoo and soap. The only things I did not like was the parking and lack of curtains. I am not used to having no curtains but I understand why they were not needed as the windows without curtains looked out onto brick walls or were too high to see into. The curtains would only be esthetic. The parking on the other hand was difficult for me as we were renting a vehicle much larger than I was used to and getting out of the parking in the back was difficult for me with the sensors ringing out as you were trying to maneuver. Last thing you want to do is hurt a vehicle you are renting so you err on the side of caution making it an interesting job getting out. Spoke with the host and he made accommodations for us to be able to get out easier and he was right. Wished we had talked earlier. LOL. The rental is the whole top floor so there is a flight of stairs to go up. I would definitely rent here again with the size of group we had.

Nice spot

The upstairs apartment was very comfortable and well located with everything you need. Everything that needed to be clean was clean and the place was well decorated but walls and celing need general maintenance and cleaning. The workout room was also unusable due to a strong odor. This might have been due to previous guests but unfortunately the smell remained the entire time i was there.

Good place

The place is nice and like the picture. It was easy to find and access. The bathroom and floors were not the cleanest i saw and the water in the shower wpudnt go warm it was either ice cold or biiling hot. Also a lot of stair to go up with suitcases since its not a full house but really a house divided in appartement.

The space was lovely and perfect for our needs. Quiet area but close to our Events. Large kitchen made it easy to prepare all our meals and the large bedrooms made it easy for everyone to relax. Loved the yoga space too!

Lovely, spacious place in great neighborhood

A lovely, well appointed, two-level apartment on a quiet tree-lined street a 10 minute drive/30 minute walk from central London. We especially enjoyed having the gym space to exercise away from the summer sun. Wortley Village just at the end of the block is full of great restaurants, pubs and cafes. When we had a small issue with check-in the host Brad responded quickly and with exactly the information we needed to solve the issue. Other queries to him during the stay were responded to promptly and kindly. A heads-up: both mattresses in the property are extra firm, which is heaven for a back sleeper but might be tough for a stomach/side sleeper. Would absolutely stay here again.

Peaceful Stay

Our stay here was just what we were looking for. Peace and quiet, well-equipped, clean and very comfortable. Air conditioned comfort during what was a hot, humid spell made coming back to the apartment a treat. Brad was quick to respond when we had a question. A walk to the end of the block brings you into Wortley Village and offers everything from cafes and restaurants to antique shops and even a hardware store for anything you might need. We would happily stay again in future. Very much as advertised.

Great place to stay

Overall great place to stay. I did not realize this was a second story unit. A little difficult to get luggage up and down as iya two flights of steps. Other than that - the unit was great. It was clean, spacious, and just as described. The neighbor in the front unit was friendly. The thermostat is also centralized for the whole building. The neighbor informed us of this when I asked host to increase temp as it was raining out. The neighbor had no issues though, just a comment he made. I also asked the neighbor if he was ok with the temperature increase- I also did not want him to be uncomfortable. Location is near to their downtown. Will stay agin if in the London area.

Good stay

This rental has a lot of potential, spacious, quiet, lots of amenities (gym, BBQ deck) and good location, but compared to the other rental I have been, there are many little essentials that are yet to be equipped (no blowdryer, Kleenex, no extra roll of toilet paper, oil to name a few). Brad was mostly responsive and easy-going.
