Whether you want to have a quiet getaway, a romantic escape or need a base from which to explore the area, this charming cabin offers the serenity of a country lifestyle, a touch of old-world charm and modern amenities to make your stay more than comfortable.

Located just 20 minutes from Queanbeyan and the historic village of Bungendore on the way to the South Coast, we have created a unique cabin nestled in the countryside. The cottage has an open floor plan, well-appointed kitchen and bathroom, comfy bed, wood fire, unique details throughout and all the comforts of home.

There are so many places to visit and photograph within a short drive of the cabin and at the end of the day you can relax and watch the sunset from your verandah while enjoying the surrounding landscape and wildlife. Alternatively, you can cook up a feast on your undercover barbeque and then sit back and watch the night sky come alive with stars.

Two external cameras have been installed to provide additional security over the front and rear door entrances as the cabin is in a rural location. Please do not tamper with the cameras or operating systems as they are for security only.

The cabin is on tank water, limit your time in the shower and wipe the glass down with the mitt provided to reduce the effect on the septic system.

Only pee, poo and toilet paper to be flushed down the toilet to avoid damage to the septic system. A bin and sanitary bags are provided.

Please do not eat any food/meals either in or on the bed. A $30 charge will be incurred for extra cleaning.

A beautiful home for a peaceful weekend away. The cottage has obviously been created with love and care, and Kathleen is a wonderful host who even provided us with a freshly baked loaf of bread! We're already looking forward to a return trip. And the woodcraft gallery in nearby Bungendore is absolutely worth seeing.

Relaxing Hide Away

What a little gem. From the moment we booked our stay Kathleen was a suberb host with nothing was to much trouble including organising a bottle of champagne for our arrival given it was our anniversary get away. The cottage was just perfect with all the little touches including a freshly made loaf of bread making our stay just perfect. The fireplace was cozy, and overall just so relaxing and comfortable. Thanks for making our stay just perfect. We'll definitely be back

I am creative and artistic and passionate about creating beautiful spaces to share with people. I built this cabin using recycled items where possible and it is a beautiful, calming and inviting space.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The cottage is located at the bottom of our 25 acre property near the dam and is quiet and peaceful and has everything you will need for your stay. It is only 20 minutes from Queanbeyan and Bungendore.
