Njut av detta fantastiska sjöhus i New Hampshire. Omgivet av trÀd Àr Cape Guinevere en perfekt tillflyktsort för en lugn tillflyktsort med naturskönhet överallt dÀr du tittar. Centralt belÀget vid Baxter-sjön, Cape Guinevere, ligger cirka 30 minuter frÄn bÄde Portsmouth och Winnipesaukee-sjön, och Gunstock Mountain, Loudon, Laconia, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Wolfeboro, Concord, Newburyport, Manchester och Hampton Beach ligger alla inom en timme.

Cape Guinevere ligger pÄ tvÄ vÄningar över marken, med nÀstan 2 000 kvadratmeter bekvÀmt bostadsyta. 4 sovrum (2 dubbelsÀngar, 1 full sÀng, 2 enkelsÀngar), 2. 5 badrum, sÀngklÀder och handdukar ingÄr, ett komplett kök med massor av redskap och köksutrustning, ett jÀttebord med plats för 10 och uteservering pÄ picknickbord . Vi har varit vÀrd för en fullstÀndig Thanksgiving-middag pÄ Cape Guinevere för 14 personer, och allt visade sig utmÀrkt!

Cape Guinevere ligger cirka 5 minuters promenad till stranden vid sjön Baxter lÀngs en lugn och sÀker vÀg. HÀrifrÄn kan du bada, starta kajaker, starta en bÄt eller bara njuta av utsikten. Vi Àr belÀget precis vid stadslinjen Farmington och Rochester, och du hittar gott om bekvÀmligheter 15 minuter bort med bil i Rochester (stora livsmedelsbutiker, Home Depot, Lowe's, restauranger, bensinstationer, tjÀnster etc.)

Du behöver en bil för att komma till Kap Guinevere, men tack och lov har vi gott om parkering för 6-8 bilar. NÀr du Àr dÀr kan du gÄ eller cykla upp och ner pÄ gatan. Du kommer ocksÄ att se personer som Äker ATV, motorcykel eller snöskoter, beroende pÄ sÀsong.

Cape Guinevere Àr det perfekta hemmet med fyra sÀsonger, med bra isolering och vÀrme för vintern och centrala A / C för sommaren.

The house was excellent we enjoyed every minute we were there. I was worried a little bit about it being pet friendly but the house was extremely clean. Additionally we did bring our dog Jessie who is a large New Foundland and she also felt right at home with plenty of space and places to walk. The host was easy to communicate with and was very helpful throughout the process.

We had a great time at the cabin. The area was beautiful and just what we needed to get away and unplug. Everything we needed was there. The beds were comfortable and the layout of the house is great for families. We loved sitting outside by the fire.

Kicking Back Along Camelot Shores

Our hosts could not have been more thoughtful or any more hospitable. They had an uncanny ability to anticipate any want and/or need and customized their property to optimize our guest experience. The home is spacious and cozy at the same time. The outdoor area and fire pit made for memorable evenings. The location along the shores of Baxter Lake was convenient for all the activities that we engaged in. I highly recommend spending time at Camp Guenevere. Nice Christmas getaway

Our family stayed at this home near Baxter Lake over the Christmas week and had a very nice time. Very close to Rochester for shopping etc. All the necessities were provided and we had a great time relaxing and enjoying the well frozen lake. Great ice fishing!

Comfortable spot for family gatherings

We visited in the winter so we didn't really take advantage of the lake but the house itself was a perfect spot for us. The open floor plan made the whole family very comfortable. The hosts responded quickly any time we had questions and were very friendly.

Great place!

We loved our stay at Cape Guinevere! The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The beaches are nice and close. We are grateful we got to bring our dogs with us on vacation. We had lots of fun swimming with them at the dog beach. Owners are great!

Perfect family getaway

The house was great for a family gathering - especially the large dining table for playing games, doing puzzles and, of course, dining. Every amenity (including a very well stocked kitchen) you might need was provided. The fire pit with plenty of firewood and outdoor grill added so much to the ambiance! The house feels quiet and remote with so many activities ( restaurants, etc) a very close drive away. Would absolutely go back there!

Excellent, well maintained property in NH

Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away in NH. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with. Property was clean, well stocked with cooking gear and cooking basics, there was firewood and kindling for making a fire, and everything was in good working condition. We had infants and children with us and they had a blast. Location is a quick 20 minutes away from downtown Dover and the Children's museum, if you're looking for something to do with small children. Great rental, we might use it again if we go back to NH.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We purchased Cape Guinevere at Baxter Lake in 2016 from a lovely family who built the home in the 90’s and intended to retire here. We live in Newburyport, but have been vacationing in New Hampshire at Baxter Lake for many years. In fact, our family members retired right down the street from Cape Guinevere! Baxter Lake is close enough from Boston for a quick hour-and-forty-minute drive up after work, but it's a world away from the city. No light pollution, clean air, quiet and tranquil, Cape Guinevere at Baxter Lake is the perfect escape for a long weekend, or a full week's vacation in the summer.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

You can tell from the home’s craftsmanship, attention-to-detail, and structural integrity that the original owners truly expected to live here year round, and for many years. It's a destination unto itself, but also close enough to grocery stores, hardware stores, craft stores, and restaurants (15 minutes away), skiing (45 minutes away), and day trips under an hour (Ogunquit, Dover, Portsmouth, Laconia, Lake Winnipesaukee, Maine, Outlet Shopping).

We escape the city for our home in the woods as often as possible, but we also love sharing our home with responsible families and groups of friends who will treat our home respectfully.
