The Endless Summer - Meredith Lodging

This roomy, bright family home makes a great launchpad for your next coastal adventure. Located in Bay City, just north of Tillamook, The Endless Summer puts you close to ice cream at the Tillamook Creamery or custom beer at Pelican Brewing. You can also walk right out the door to explore this sweet community, with its cafĂ©, library, park, art center, and even fresh seafood at the Fish Peddler. Alderbrook Golf Course is also nearby. Easy day trips up the north coast give you access to fantastic beaches, hiking on dramatic capes over the ocean, and small towns with restaurants, shops, galleries, and several boat launches for river or bay fishing and crabbing. You and your guests will love the spacious high ceiling and transom windows of the great room and its attractive wood staircase and upper railing. You’ll find modern updates in the home including a fully remodeled kitchen and dining space perfect for dining in, whether you want to cook up a feast or sample local take-out. We loved the game room and the house was just what we needed. The location is close to Tillamook. We had what we needed to fix meals. There a just a few signs of wear and tear and that’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. It's a convenient jumping off point for exploring the mid-to-northern Oregon coast. Bonus: it's a 5-minute drive from the Tillamook Creamery. :)The kitchen is well-stocked, and there was plenty of space for the four of us in the living room. Every room was clean and tidy.The garage has a ping pong table, air hockey table, and a fun basketball game.Highly recommended, and would stay again.P.s. I can't forget to mention that the Fish Peddler is right across the highway. Amazing clam chowder for a fair price.

Perfect spot for a family get together near the Oregon Coast

Cute, clean, easy to get to, well cared for house away from the busyness of the beach towns. Perfect basecamp for a few days of meeting with family and visiting the ocean. Large common area for visiting and nice kitchen for cooking made for a relaxing vacation.

Great kickback spot with friends!

The house has a nice spacious living room for hanging out with friends and the ping pong table in the garage was super fun! There’s a little market conveniently across the street and the fish peddler just a five minute walk away, right on the water where we like to go eat at. The kitchen was very well stocked for any cooking needs too. Would definitely go back!

Great place, well appointed and clean

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was well appointed, clean and clearly is well taken care of. We were disappointed that the air hockey table wasn't working, so if that is important to you you might want to check to make sure it's fixed. Great location!

Room for major improvement

We had a short trip to the coast, and were looking forward to having this landing spot. The good: property management was communicative, lots of games, the kitchen had the basics for coffee and quick meal prep. Bay City was located conveniently from a few beaches and coastal sites we haven't visited before. The not at all great: the first floor bathroom was not functional for the first night and morning of our stay (which meant that all guests had to access the upstairs bathroom through each of the upstairs bedrooms) until it was fixed during the day the next day, dirty underwear (ew!) were discovered on the floor behind an upstairs bedroom door from prior guests, and wet towels were discovered from the prior guests/housekeeping when it was time to do some of our own laundry on the second night of our visit. Management was willing to send help out on Saturday each time we noticed a new issue, but our vacation would have been much more pleasant not having to attend to these problems. Additionally, multiple cameras pointed at the front entry and porch made a little creepy to sit outside and enjoy the front porch.

Very clean and convenient!

This place had everything - dishwasher, laundry, BBQ grill, even air hockey! It was very clean and the host was very responsive. Centrally located for convenient access to local attractions and beaches. Bring a fan if staying in the summer as it gets hot-but this is a wonderful rental!

Nice central location for activities from Tillamook to Rockaway

Clean home with plenty of elbow room for 5 adults. Comfortable beds, and kitchen was decently equipped. Great for us as we spent time in Rockaway and Tillamook areas and this was a short drive to both.

Best house for kids!

Hands down this was the best house we could have rented on the coast for our family! The game room was a HUGE hit, even for the adults. The books, games & toys that were there were absolutely perfect as well. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable & they even supplies mini shampoo, conditioner & soap bottles. Great option for the pull out couch that turns into a hide-a-bed for a 4th bed & even that was comfortable to sleep on! NO bar hurt my back, like 99.9% of hide-a-beds LOL Every appliance in the kitchen was easy to use and functional. The mini market right across the street is open 24/7 so that was a huge bonus for last minute items that I forgot to pack. I saved this house listing as my favorite because we most definitely plan to come back again!
